So I'm romancing Merrill got her up to full Friendship in Act 2.
When I started Act 3 I did the following:
1. Talked to Merrill at my home
2. Went to Merrill's house - at this point the bug where scene where she's crying about what happeend with the Keeper plays even though I haven't done that quest occured.
3. I gave Merrill the Dalish ring
Is this going to screw up my ability to complete the Merrill romance?
Is there any way to fix things via the console?
Or am okay to keep playing, and everything else will play out correctly even though I got that cutscene eariler than I should?
I'm really reluctant to continue my game at this point because of this, I put a lot time into it and I really want to see how everything ends with Merrill's romance, so I can try different romances out on my next playthrough.

To fix this bug (and it may sound completely tarded) you must speak to alistair and somehow that restarts merills quest and makes it completable.

How do I speak to Alistair? Last time I saw him he was a drunken bum in the Hanged Man, and finally was talked back into returning to Fereldan. Does he come back again or something? For the record I imported my "Loghain kills the Archdemon" playthrough.

O he has to be king I guess and you have to speak to him at the keep.
