Hi,
I'm in Act 2 and Merrill moved in but is never at home even when Bodhan says that she just arrived.
I suspect this is a Bug, so where would she normaly be?
Where is Merrill? Bug?

Bodhan says that about the elf chick you save durring Finris' quest & you either make her a slave or give her a job. he refers to Merrill as Miss Merrill

Well, I didn't do either. I gave her money to start over. It's just wierd that Bodahn tells me someone has arrived and than nobody is around.
BTW: I have Merrill's Flower on the Desk in the Bedroom and when you examine it, Hawke says that it's the only thing Merrill moved in. Doesn't that mean she has moved in already?

so far i have only noticed merrill's flower on the desk & the lute beside the fireplace if you have moved merrill in & brought the elf chick in as a slave/servant, hawke will make a comment about the elf chick teaching merrill how to play but that merrill should really stick to magic.
also if you examine the banister it will say someone has been swinging on the chandelier, if merril has moved in hawke will say its her & if she hasnt he will say its sandal

Merrill is only physically present in the Estate after Act 2, that is after the Qunari invasion.

I had a weird bug in the game, I romanced Merrill, and at the end of the game it said I was with Isabela. (I sided with the mages btw)

Same here. Strange that Merrill wouldn't stick around when you supported the mages. I replayed the end mission but supported the templars this time. At the end, Varric audibly said Isabela but the subtitles say Merrill. Even more confusing.

If Varric's epilogue really bothers you I suppose you could use the console debug to remove Isabela's romance flags.

Thanks for the answers, guys! I'm in Act 3 now and Merrill is finally present at my home, but I ran right into her bugged questline and a bunch of other bugs.
I think, I'll wait a few month for a patch.
So much for pre-ordering...
