I'm on my second playthrough and I can't duel the Arishok. It just sends me into the big fight with all the Qunari. It let me duel him in my first playthrough, so I'm more than slighlty confused. Cna anyone help me here?

he must not respect you in this play through.
edit..there is also an option where you fight 4 or 5 Qunari then he duels you.

Which is odd, considering I did everything the same. I have read that if I take Fenris with me I can still duel him, is there any truth to this?

EDIT: Yeah, you fight the honour gaurd then duel.

I've done 3 playthroughs and dueled him 3 times and i can only share what i did but;

- Entered keep with distraction each time.
- Disagreed with Arishok and didn't allow him to leave with Isabella or had Fenris remind him there is honor in fighting a woman
- Agreed with him in previous convo's about the elves converting.

Aha! I disagreed with him in the elves conversation! I shall reload and agree with him about the elves. Thank you.
