Hey guys and girls. I'm about to make a Rogue and I wanted to know in terms of damage, which is better? Dual weapon or a bow?
Which is better? Daggers or a bow?

For damage DW wins because of double hits, for highest possible single hit bows will edge out daggers.

it depends the bow fires slower but the damage is amazing, but the daggers are amazingly fast and can kill an enemy pretty quickly with the right skills, other than that its just a preference. i beat the game with rogue and bow

The best answer is put some points into both
Daggers are more fun and you can do extremely high DPS on ccc abilities for DW
Ranged is also important in many situations
You simply cannot do this with a bow (89k +51k with Assassinate):

^dipping into everything is a great way to be good at nothing.

One of the devs beat the game on nightmare by investing in both DW and Archer. What he did is use both skill trees most powerful attacks (Punishing Lance + Twin Fangs, etc) in rapid succession.

I started out on Nightmare exclusively as a DW rogue.
Then I found a pretty powerful bow and realized how convenient it is to start out ranged, oneshot Lieutenants with arrows and then move in for the kill with DW ccc moves.
This is why the Rogue is the most fun to play IMO, you can deal serious cross class combo dps with both melee and ranged.
(However, it seems the Disorienting Shot ability is bugged - I never get any disorients, would not recommend this ability until it is fixed in a patch.)
Even if you don't put any points at all into Archery, I guarantee there will be certain situations where you will end up using your bow anyways.

Except you only need 16-18 points for a great build. Everything beyond that is fluff.
