Well: IT IS unclear. And I wonder why BW is making the Arrival their last story-based DLC. They should milk this franchise when it's still interesting. Because after ME3 there will be no need for story-based DLC - if ME3 is to be a good closure of the trilogy, there will be no interesting mystery left to solve and no need for DLC; why making Arrival the last one for ME2, then?

the whole reason you couldn't take the VS with you on the suicide mission was so they wouldn't die and could definitley be in Mass Effect 3.

I'm sure there will be appearance packs down the line and possibly weapon packs. Who knows.

As for Ashley (or Kaidan), I think for sure she'll have a big role in ME 3. I certainly hope so. Since I remained faithful to her on two of my playthroughs.

I have to admit, it's kind of disappointing to know that when it was stated that LotSB was the "first of several" bridge-gapping story DLCs that it really is only going to be "several" by the bare minimum of the definition. I really was kind of expecting at least three given that comment, not just one more. Oh well.

If anyone is disappointed that this is the last, just play Lair and then see if you still feel that way.

Although I do wish they could develop at least ONE more before ME3, I can live with this being the last.

DLC for ME2 was a HUGE improvement over ME1, so here's looking forward to THE ARRIVAL and then ME3 itself.......then its DLC

A news item on Cerberus made the announcement, stating, “A week of posts will precede a downloadable content release, and then two weeks before the release of Mass Effect 3, a new DLC will launch – this will probably bridge the events of Mass Effect 2 with Mass Effect 3.

two weeks before me3,they´ve change their plans? and bring to us early? It´s kidding to avoid some trolling about the real final dlc before me3? me3 early release?

Bioware said that it will be three total before ME 3 whatever they are based on story or just package. now, we have two. I guess that we will get one more DLC around September or October. most likely it will be another appearance package for the rest of squad members who didn't get fancy suits.
