Is there anyway to make it so u can have 5 in your party?  i just feel like im being shafted by one area of a full party..

You can already have 5 if you have the Mabari, though you cant directly do anything with him/her.

Just one more party slot would have made a world of difference...

Why do you need 5 in a party? The game was balance with 4.. if you are getting your tush handed to you, turn down the difficulty level a notch. If you are already on Casual. well, there isn't much more help.

You can add people with the console, I forgot to take Anders with me into the deep roads (wanted to make Bethany a grey warden) used a console command and had Aveline, Varric, Bethany & Anders with me. I assume you could have everyone.
