Witch Hunt import flags are not recognized by DA2... well they carry over but have no effect on this game. It's something they have planned for later, as I understand it.

The import pretty much does nothing regardless.  A few dialogue comments, such as warden from DAO being male or female are about it.  It seems that Bioware, for whatever reason, wanted this to be a completely separate game.  Odd that it's a "sequel" that seems to have very little to do with the original.

Importing here seems to have a vastly less effect than importing in ME2.

Because ME is Shepard's story, his actions play a prominant role from game to game. DE is Thedas' story, The broad-strokes outcome of the game (who is king/who was the warden) matter more than the nitty-gritty. That is actually the standard in cRPGs I feel, For example Kotor and Kotor II, NWN, its expansions, NWN2, and its second expansion. The entire Elder Scrolls series. They all have this "distant tale" relationship between different stories in the franchise but still tie together by being in the same setting/world. I like that much more than the continued focus on one character a la ME

"having Morrigan pop her head out of the complete mirror to say hi"

That would have been hilarious espicially since Morrigan doesn't know Hawke from any other goof. L0L

"I would not be surprised if she shanks the Warden as soon as they emerge on the other side and before he gets his bearings and then tosses his body in a ditch. . . regretfully of course

Its a perfect way to "End the Warden's tale" on a note that fits with Morrigan's whole "raised by an evil witch to use men Black Widow" character"

That would be a horrible way to end things with thata rc, and it would be totally against the Morrigan of that time. No way she does kill a love inetrested warden just because. That would be horrible writing.

I can see things posisbly leading to a confrontation but not over that. It would have to be something deeper and more meaningful then the fatc he followed her through the mirror - with her permission.
