I have a few saves from DA1 but to be honest i was quite unsatisfied by all the final outcomes, so i didn't bother.

I have done one playthrough with the default King Alistair history and now i'm on another with Alistair the drunkard, but to be honest i can't see much difference except for the rare reference to who the ruler is and i assume i might meet Anora instead of meeting Alistair in Act 3.

I was wondering if people who imported a save had noticed any other actual influences it had on the DA2 content?

Nothing more than passing acknowledgments from the game saves I've imported.

I think there are more small quests if you import. I've seen one for Nathaniel Howe listed on the boards, but I didn't find that one in the game because I used an Origins save instead of an Awakening save. Little things, I think.
