System specs are:

AMD Phenom 955 @ 3.6 Ghz

AMD 6850 @ 850 Mhz/1100 Mhz - 11.2 drivers, also tried 11.4 drivers and did not
notice any performance increase.

4GB 1333 Mhz Ram 9-9-9-24 timing

1920X1080 screen res

I looked around in the graphics settings and on very high I get about 18-20 fps
but on high I get around 50 fps and with further messing around disabling tessellation
allowed me to get to 30 fps on very high.

I was wondering if there is anything I can do because I should be able to run
this game maxed out with no problems but I am experiencing very low fps and I
want to play the game on very high settings because my system should be able
to.

Same thing here, the game absolutely SUCKS with ATI cards. I have the same set-up as this guy and I get really low frame Rates. Please fix this Bioware

I understand Nvidia cards have issues also, but it just isn't them ATI cards are sucking that this also. I wonder if we will have to wait for a ATI driver or a DA2 patch.

Are you sure you're supposed to run the game maxed at this resolutions at all? The game's pretty demanding with DX11 effects.

I don't know but there was a noticeable performance increase with the 11.4 drivers for me. I get constant 50-60 fps with everything maxed out @1920x1080 resolution on the following specs:
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T BE
Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB

Switching resolution doesn't affect FPS for me at all.

My card runs all other games at 1920X1080 fine.

I can play Crysis at full max with well over 80 fps, this game is not demanding, its because of the friken console port that screwed the PC engine up.

The game is indeed demanding.  The question is, why?  It does not have exceptional graphics by any stretch of the imagination.

Specs
Core i5 780 quad 2.68 Ghz
Radeon HD 5770 1GB
8GB DDR3 ram
Res: 1920x1080
Graphix are on High with all special effects unchecked and all smoothing effects are on x2. Get 30FPS and lower when in open areas such as bone pit and wounded cost. Also when cut scenes start fps slows down like crazy. I don't think it should be that bad with these specs at all. I realize i may be shouldn't be able to run on very high settings (even though i did with crysis and it was fine), but High without depth of field etc and still crappy...that's horrible.

It is so demanding because they never fixed DX11 like they said they were before the launch of the game they just rushed it out and in turn it is poorly optimized.

My friend has the same specs expect a dual core from AMD instead of the quad core i5 and he said he is able to max out the game on very high with no lag.

This game seems tempermental.

I wanna see if I can switch 5770 with 6970. Maybe it'll do better. I'm however not sure if I have enough room for it for it's kind of huge and a PCIe slot.

I would assume you should be able to run the game better, but who knows because I should be able to run the game maxed out but I cant.

Even the 5770 should be able to but wont. (for you anyway).

This is really a issue that needs new drivers or needs to be patched.

Hello. i downloaded those high textures, but well the game now sucks. i set all on high but it all slows down and doesn't show all textures.
my specs:
Core i7-960 3,2 ghz lga 1366
asus rampage III formula x58
12 gb ram
geforce GTX 570 1280MB DDR5/320bit
is that enough for those very high textures???

Bioware didn't bother to optimize the game for the PC at all, like all companies they seem to be drifting more towards their console players. sickens me...

Yes your system should be able to run it easily, but Nvidia had problems with Dragon Age 2 as well download the 267.59 WHQL drivers it is said to fix some of these problems.

Core I7 930
6gb 1600mhz RAM
Radeon Sapphire 5870 2gb

I run the game on only "High" with no Anti-Aliasing and only x2 A.Filtering at 1900x1200.

I can get it to the mid 40s fps, but it Chugs a lot in certain areas of the game. Really a bummer.
It's strange because the game's graphical default settings for me, have every setting nearly maxed out, which ran at a crippling 15-25 fps.
I hope some Optimization fixes come through.
I miss DA:O and ME2 Running at a Blazing 60+ FPS with every setting cranked.

This game is not at all optimized for the PC, I hope this gets fixed soon, it's a real let down.
