I love how Flemeth could be potentially a big evil villain and yet she doesn't opt for the straight killing of anyone she encounters (Grey Warden, Hawke ect). It's all about the bigger picture with her, having her pawns in motion I suppose, but in a way I feel as if in a way, an odd way she just as much a goodie as a baddie. She reminds me a lot of Kreia in that way.

And having Kate Mulgrew voice her is just wonderful, her voice on it's own is lovely on the ears, but parred with the dialogue she's given for the DA games, just gives me goosebumps.

I've always been a huge fan of Flemeth and I just love her new design in DA2. And Kate Mulgrew voices her perfectly.

I was surprised by Flemeth acting almost kindly when Wesley dies. I mean, she does not offer Aveline a handkerchief, but she is not snarky either and her words seem almost sympathetic. That is a new side to Flemeth.

Also, anybody noticed her remark to Merril at the altar: "The people (meaning the elves) bend their knees to quickly." or something like that? What did she mean with that? That she is not a god or does not want to be worshipped? Any ideas?

My take on that comment; Elves so easily surrender themselves (like being slaves in Thedas or pigs in mud like dalish) instead of putting up a fight.

Also her advice to Merrill is too good to pass on. Not really word to word but something like: No path is darker than when one's eyes shut. We all see where Merrill go with her eyes shut. Posted Image

True. She does not seem to take kindly to people not standing up for themselves. I remember Morrigan's deep contempt for the Circle mages. She saw it as a waste of effort to help the "weak" and she probably learned that attitude from Flemeth.

On the other hand, she does warn Merril against her plans and as I said, she seems to be "kinder" or perhaps just more interested in the people she meets than in DAO.

She challenges Fenris on being "really free" and she also comments on Anders/Justice, although I forgot exactly what she said. The only one I heard her being snarky towards was Isabela, saying she knew her "type" or something like that.

Flemeth explains why Morrigan is who she is. Also another interesting point she remarks that she is neither her daughter nor her enemy.

I don't have any DA:O export that I left Flemeth alive, I wonder how much her dialogue changes according that.

On the other hand, doesn't she need to posses a body to continue existing? I remember something indicating that from Morrigan's talk about her.

Flemeth is by far my most favorite character in TheDAS.....

The "fan song" in the op amused me immensely...

I suspect that whatever Flemeth's grand scheme is... Morrigan has no clue (every thing she's learned about and from Flemeth has been one big manipulation to get that DemonGodBaby into existence)... and it will most likely be linked to Sandal's infamous "prophecy"...

I wish we knew more about her. But I guess, not knowing a lot, makes he so epic. She's a mystery.
