I'm right at the end of the game and I've sided with the mages. Now we're stuck in the Gallows prison. When I make for the exit, the game saves but won't let me out!
Anyone else come across this problem? I can't progress from here at all, HELP!

Sounds like a bug? Tried reloading a older save?

Yep, got it sorted now, had to reload a save.

That's when you go into a prison, you get stuck there.

It happened to me after dealing with Orsine DeLuxe, the Harvester (its head at least) didn't spawn again after jumping away, I had to run some circles to get it to come back. Also, it happened after a reload, as for the first time, I couldn't get it respawning.
So, here it is, a reload and some running around, at least if you're stuck on the same phase of the ending.

Stuck in Gallows Prison...have reload several times. Didn't even get the chance to finish the boss battle and still can't get out. WTF!!!

Same problem as Sigma2010. Orsino looks like he might have loot on him (maybe a key?) but unable to target and loot him. So stuck at the end with no where to go.

I find that switching to a companion character sometimes enables the ability to open doors or loot stuff. Try it.

Nothing to loot after killing Orsi and i cant find a way out of this locaion.
