Oh right. I forget what an intelligent, sophisticated lot we BioWare fans are.
Hint: BioWare fans are Brony and MW3 fans.
I like to think of Bronies as latent petophiles and I completely despise MW3 so nuff said. I still believe the majority of Bioware fans are fans of RPG's
You can be a fan of RPGs and still enjoy shooters. ...Or pedophilia. They're not mutally exclusive. (Also if you think that someone has to be a pedophile to enjoy a cartoon, then...wow, you need to watch more cartoons, dude. Unless you're problem is that it's for girls, in which case...I don't even know.)
Not that I like MW3, I don't, but RPG fans aren't a hivemind.

I think that's in both Origins and DA2, so I'm not sure what you're getting at with that.

Origins yes, DA2 no. There is no story related to the li and main character after shagging/kiss/shagging (depending which one you are romancing, Merrill or Isabela. Their personal quests are not main character related, besides him hanging around when the quest happens.

I finished Dragon Age 2 first before Origins because when I played Origins using my XBOX... it sucked as hell! It was too much button combinations for me and I found it complicated. If anyone noticed I would post in forums the DA2 was better than Origins. I gave Origins another shot for MAC and maker's breath... I loved it to the very core!!! Now I know why people didn't like DA2 that much. I completely understand and so my second wish is that DA3 would have a compelling, lengthy yet substantial story like Origins plus the graphics of DA2. (Just the graphics nothing else lol and everything origins)
THIRD: If ever they would give a voice to the warden... please make it epic like Mark Meer who voices Shepard. I must say, I didn't like the voice of Male Hawke (seemed boring) but I do love the edge behind Female Hawke's voice.\\
Finally, I hope DA3 would show the consequences of my Male Warden's decisions. If I were to choose whose story to continue... Grey Warden for me all the way! Sorry, Hawke. Seriously, I would not want a new character for the next one.

I'm interested in guys more than girls, so I don't know as much about Merrill or Isabela's romance, but when I romanced Anders I felt like there was still...more to the relationship? Maybe I was adding in some of it on my own, but after Hawke slept with Anders I still had some conversations between them about theirl relationship (which were somewhat weaved into the normal conversations you have with the character and building on them and their relationship to Hawke, romance or otherwise) and I know for sure that there was a romance-specific conversation at the end game before the final boss between Anders and Hawke. From what I've heard at least Isabela has one of these, too, and I'm fairly sure Fenris does, as well.Ukki wrote...

Oh & as for the look of the game can someone go & steal the Dark Souls engine?
Seriously though, I think we all need to agree on what it is we want, so I'm going to outline everything I think people want (some I've read, some are mine & some are guesswork):
1: A character based story much like DA2
2: The Warden & Hawke to return - This has been hinted at the in the past actually
3: A more realistic look to the game
4: Consiquences from the Wardens Actions (dark ritual)
5: Plot holes filled - I refer to the end of Witch Hunt mostly - what happend to a Warden that didn't romance Morrigan
6: An epic story as this will be the final DA game I think
7:Tender moments with the lover, including the chance to kiss them whenever - like Origins & a passionate love scene, not just kissing on the bed or fooling around the the underwear.
8: Nudity, not all the time that would be daft, but just in the tender love scene.
9: A cure for the Warden, not everyone playing the game wanted their warden to join & so the option of a cure should be made available, say dark blood magic or something.
10: A decent combat system, get rid of the ninja style closing attacks & have a more realistic feel, also, go back to the fact that you could push an attack, say, Assault & the character would cross the field to do it.
11: The health potion thing I mentioned at the top
12: Different looking locations not rinse & repeat, hey, could some of DA3 take place in the Frozen Wastes?
13: Don't lock the affection bar once it maxes out either way
14: Go back to the DA:O style of selecting your lines of dialog not the ME style.
15: Don't force us to play a Human
16: Fully customisible characters, from weapons to armour, like Origins
17: The chance to train the protagonist from DA3 in anything, I had so much fun with an Arcane Warrior in Origins
18: A wider range of tactics, I've always been looking for one that's Ally - Surrounded by x number of enemies - use- taunt or whatever
19: Mention if your character turns to Blood magic, but only in an intimate conversation with the lover
20: Deepen the relationship with the lover, much like in Origins, I think it's this that makes most people's decisons for the Dark Ritual as you actually feel for the growing relationship (well that's me anyway)
21: Get rid of this 'sweet spot' level crap for attributes & equipment, hell, go back to the original tiers for weapojns & armour.
Ok I think I'm done, I'm pretty sure that's everything people may want, hey I may be wrong though but I think I've droned on enough.

I want the companions, companion side quests to continue to be cool. I want the conversations to feel less streamlined than in DA2. That stuff I take for granted with Bioware.
Add/Improve
What I want to get better are the decisions. I want to make tough decisions and see the consequences in game and not just in text ending cards. That sort of thing from DAO and DAA...I want it in game. I also want to see class-specific content.

That the Warden and the Champion will return for the 3rd installment. They have to return as they are the characters that shaped the world we created.
To answer all questions: what happened to Morrigan's baby? Where did the Warden and the Champion go? Who is Sandal? What is Flemeth?
And maybe, just maybe, more graphic love scenes (hey, most players of Dragon are adults)
Bottom line: Dragon Age 3 should be the last installment of the Dragon Age series. This should be a fitting ending to a great game.

I mean like going to say...Master Wade...did I really just say him? Anyway, don't just have him make you armour/weapons but you get to choose from the designs, colours, shapes that sort of thing. Kind of like in the NWN expansion pack Hordes of the Underdark.
I think that that sort of thing could add more fun to the game & allow the player to have their own unique look to the characters, insead of having everyone look the same.
Also, bring back the Heraldry customisation for the shields
& a final suggestion from me: A passionate reuninon for the Warden & thier lover, becasue as we know, according to Varric, Hawke & his/her loves stayed together.

Yes...yes..and yes!!! Final suggestion! I love it. And hey, if you were with Alister but he died to slay the demon can he come back? People keep gossiping that it is the Maker's plan to have the Warden and the Champion plus whoever you are in the third game change the world. So if it ends like that, can my dalish elf get back with her love? Like if the world is ending to start again, can alister appear before her and call her beloved and stuff like that and have them walk into the afterlife to be at the maker and Andraste's sides? And have my Rue Alim, (my dalish elf) see Merrill, if the champion has her for a lover, and have a sort of good friendship with her and let only severe things change that, like Rue alim was againest blood magic and went to the circle to heal conner. So if merrill uses blood magic, have my character be displeased. The Dragon age creators has alot of work ahead of them. Andraste guide you.

Yes. and we should be able to be qunari, and if not, have a mode you can download, where you play a story where you are qunari. But I would prefer to be one in dragon age.Andraste guide yOu

I'd just like to say that the likelihood of multiple voices is just about zero. Just the two we have now are very expensive given the large number of lines. They also take up a lot of time and space on the disk to produce. They could manage it in DA:O because it was just a few shouts and battlecries.TheMakersChosen wrote...
And another thing, I want more options on what to do then just say maybe three to four things that decide the fate of what I am. I want to keep the fact that your charcter speaks, this time with your choice of voice, but with more things to say like in Number one. This gives you a chance to be a complete indivival in the game. Not Good, Funny, or a jerk. Please fix this. Andraste guide you.

2. More variation in dungeon design. It doesn't have to be over-the-top but something like how DA:O was would be nice.
3. Clarification on Flemeth's and Sandal's exact roles would be nice.
4. The ability to travel around more than one country. I would love to see Tevinter, Antiva, and Orlais specifically. Likely what we'd get is to see the Captials but seeing some of the countryside would be nice. Or Weisshaupt Fortress.
5. All of the companions from DA: O, DAO: A, and DAII. Preferably as party members (which is likely not feasible as that would be a huge amount of banter to write) but at the very least cameos.
6. An explanation on that lyrium idol. The one that makes people go insane but we have no idea or explanation as to why. "Oh, it glows red so it must be Sith lyrium." That's about all I can come up with.
7. Please, please, please do not make every enemy Mage a Blood Mage. Not all apostates use Blood Magic and, as Merrill and possibly some PC Wardens and Hawkes proved, even if they do use Blood Magic they don't use it for evil means.

Well said. But they should show that it corrupts people. But not like where they go crazy and mad and start to cut up people. Like remember if you were a mage in Dragon age 1 and Javis, your mage friend in the circle, makes you help him but you find out he is a blood mage and then he poisons the Arl because he was threatened. Make blood mages be corrupted or affected in other ways. Like Merrill didn't get corrupted, just blinded by the demon. It then killing the keeper she loved. Have blood magic make them weak in their own choices, like maybe unless they do blood magic, they don't know what to do and therefore helpless. Evil magic shouldn't make you a madman. But it should have a negazive effect. Andraste guide you.

Because the Warden is a silent hero they would not make a useful party member unless a voice was added to them, this could detract from the personality the player of DA:O created though. Also, more importantly, the Warden can only be an optional apearence for those that turned down the Dark Ritual & martyred themselves.
The way I think this should be tackled is that you actually have a section where you play as the Warden, that may be the best way to explain their story insttead of just having someone, possibly Morrigan tell it or something.
I can't believe I just said all this because I am one of the ones that wanted a Warden only game...damn my brain.

I wouldn't say even most people feel the need for the Warden to appear. There are too many issues of characterization if the Warden is an NPC. I'd like a bit of resolution, but the Warden doesn't have to appear in person. What might work if the Warden appeared would be to have the Warden leave some kind of message. When the DA3 protagonist finds it, he/she experiances the memory of the Warden during the Warden's last jaunt in the Deep Roads or something, allowing the Warden to be playable. The Orlesian Warden could fill in if the DA:O Warden did the Ultimate Sacrifice.coldsteelblue wrote...
I've been doing some thinking about the fact that everyone (more or less) wants the Warden to be in this game, but there is a couple of major factors that need to be addressed.
