I can see bringing back the "camp" if it makes sense. A camp in DA2 (say the Hanged man) does not make sense for all the characters like Sebastian. Why would he be in the Hanged Man? Or for that matter Bethany? It would be out of character for certain companions to be at the Hanged Man.
If you are traveling the countryside like in DAO it makes sense.
I am for equipping your companion's armor if it makes sense. If one of your companions is a templar, captain of the guard, guardsmen or seeker it would not make sense that the gamer has control over their gear. For example the gamer should not be able to change Aveline's equipment. Fenris should not be able to wear armor because it would hinder his Spirit pulse or Lyrium Ghost especially if the armor is magical.
Now if you offered a companion a piece of gear and it was accepted I could see that.
What do you want for Dragon Age III?

a new race
FLEMETH!!!!
GOD BABY
Zevran
new characers
maybe a new class
replayablility was good in DA2 but i'd like even more
different endings
a darkspawn comanion
optional changes of hairstyles for NPC's
good choice with the apperence changing mirror, do it AGAIN
Isabella was my idol, give me her again
limit it to 2-3 returning characters
cannons are nice, but only as long as they aren't forced

One point I do not want to see again is how your class decide which one of your siblings lived or died. Come up with a better method than that if it is going to be part of the story. Also come up with a better way to kill the sibling off. I can see getting killed while fighting, but getting killed before the fight even starts is wrong. I do believe Hawke's siblings would have a little more sense than leaving the party short handed.

Fully customizable character (can choose race, background, feats, skills and also ability). DA2's character creation and customization totally ruined my experience I expected from a dragon age game.

NOT open world like skyrim. I want a story not the ability to walk through fields of nothingness.
I also DEMAND that duel-wielding swords can be done by warriors again.
Being able to play as other races please.
Multiple backgrounds again.
Keep the main-character talking thing.
All LI's should be bisexual again.
Certain armor for certain companions is fine but make sure all the available armors for, say, a warrior companion look different so that there is a level of customability. So Bob the warrior can wear barbarian-style armor or templar-style armor or knight-style armor. The same level of customability for Lucy the mage and Ezalkorak the rouge.
Also whatever you do do NOT bring in a good/evil thing. I want to be able to make choices that I believe are for good reasons without other people treating me like I'm some mage-hating ass. The friendship/rivalry thing is great because you can make someone really like you even if all the main quest choices you make are not what they like.
And of course- DRAGON RIDING!!!!!

I would like the elements of combat from DA2 but with more tactical need.
Takes place in different areas, not like DA2 in which a lot of dungeons and houses were re-used.
Like some have said, do NOT make it a sand-box game like Skyrim.
Different races.
Bring back the unique backgrounds of DAO. And with it maybe a special talent tree depending in what background one started with?
and the rest stays the same

What I want for Dragon Age III?
That's easy:
1 - free copy
2 - free signed copy
3 - free DLC
As for the game itself... well, since you can always dream...
I want it to be an RPG that is NOT made for casual gamers and that it is made for the PC (no console ports pls), that's all.

Improved hair options for male characters. I was really hoping for a long hair style but the one we got looked like dreadlocks.

1. A toolset. Mods are what made me replay DAO three times instead of once. Also, look at what the most popular mods are (excluding the pervy stuff of course), and extrapolate. This is what we want. The Black Emporium was spot on. More like that please.
1(a). If you're going to give your characters extreme makeup (like Morrigan, Bethany's 2nd head), give the player the option to fix it. I spend about 4 hours working out how to use pyGFF jsut so I could get rid of that stupid pink eyeshadow on Beth.
2. Ease back on the 'way cool' combat animations which make eveyone look like a flying ninja, or an exploding corpse. Get real, skilled fighters and MoCap them. Speed them up a little if necessary, but don't give them idiot moves. Also look at real weapons and armour and don't exaggerate so much.
3. More emotive acting! When a certain character finds out they're going to die, it's all 'oh noes, you dying?' 'Yep', 'k bye'. Something like LA Noir would be nice, though probably extremely expensive too. It would be cool if your animations were partially defined by your friendship with the character. Rivals and neutrals would remain stiff and distanced, good friends would smile more, hug, pat on shoulder etc.
4. Character deaths not defined by class! I had to download a mod (Sophie's choice) because I didn't want the mopey emo companion for my mage.
5. Mages should be feared, but also more secretive. I always wondered how hawke got away with wandering around Kirkwall with a massive spiky staff on her back and the templars never noticed. Hiding the staff with some sort of cloaking spell, or attaching an axehead to make it look like a danaxe or spear or something would be cool, and you could only get mage gear from black-market dealers etc. Of course people would know any time she fought anyone, but I guess making it 100% lore-friendly would jsut break the gaming experience.
6. Bring back character dialogue! The banter's good (esp if Varric's in the party), but it's important for empathy to also include one on one developing dialogue, where you feel like you're actually affecting the character and they you - and not just by fulfilling quests. I always managed to make my goody-good mage hero character best friends with Morrigan in DAO, which made her eventual betrayal more shocking, but also her obvious sadness in breaking the friendship far more convincing. Being able to use the leverage of friendship to change your companions' minds on certain things is also gratifying.

Agree completely. It sounds hilarious, but it's so true... we deserve compensation for pre-ordering, expecting more of the same greatness that Origins brought, and getting duped.
Dragon Age should be a PC-oriented franchise, designed with the PC in mind and ported to consoles after... like Origins was.

Here are some things I'd like to see in DA3:
- Let the protagonist have more influence on the story and let the game recognize this (NPCs note it in conversation, quests change, ending changes based on choices).
- More companion interaction. The story and the companions are what make these games so enjoyable for me so more interaction (on demand rather than quest based) is high on my list. Random kissing is always cool. Companions are a Bioware strength so please don't go backwards here.
- More tactical combat and less wave spawning enemies. Bring back those cool finishing moves.
- More control over party inventory. I prefer to fully armor and outfit my companions and don't care if they're wearing mismatched outfits.
- Open wilderness areas to explore. I don't want to see a total sandbox world but I would like to explore "off the path" now and then. In DA2, I felt really constrained outdoors with the forced paths. I'd love to see some Skyrim style outdoor adventures that don't make us travel down a set path.
- Keep DA2 style crafting and even expand upon it.
- More art realism and less cartoony style. DA2 is beautiful for sure but I prefer a more gritty and realistic art style for RPGs.
- I prefer a silent protagonist and text but it's not a huge deal for me either way.

Customizable companion Armor like in DAO
Bring back Arcane Warrior
More than 1 last story armor like in DAO
Toolset damnit for evey thing else we wish to improve
We could have covered half this stuff if you released a damn toolset..
Get rid of the dialogue circle let it stay in Mass Effect I was happy with my main character silent and I could imagine his voice.

I would want a better constructed story as well as more interesting characters. Make our choices as protagonists actually mean something instead of being superficial. Also more awesome outfits.
