1. Bigger and more open areas (look how good Skyrim looks!) with less corridors.
2. Tactical camera.
3. Proper inventory system and better crafting.
4. Fuller more vibrant world.
5. Responsive combat like DA2 but slightly slower.
6. Better and deeper story as well as the companions.
7. Longer development cycle with a 'it'll be released when it's ready' mentality (like Blizzard do!).
8. Keep voiced protagonist, dialogue wheel and sell junk tab.
9. Exploration of the game world.
10. Ability to equip companion character's armour.
11. No recycled maps/areas again and again and again and again and........... zzzzzzzzzzzz!
12. Option to create different races.
Basically, all the things that make a proper RPG. All this talk from BioWare *cough Mike Laidlaw* about the RPG genre needing to move forward is nonsense - if it wasn't for the success of DA:O, which takes a more classical approach, the sequel would never have been made so why water down all the RPG elements?
The sequel needs to be separated from ME universe not converge with it. I have faith in BioWare but certainly won't be rushing out to preorder DA3.

I was actually really disappointed when I found out I couldn't romance Aveline. I was half way through Act 1 when I realized I hadn't encountered any charm/romance dialogue choices with her. I hit up the Dragon Age wiki only to find to my dismay that she wasn't a romance option. I had high hopes of cheering her up after her husband's death, to slowly get close to her, and eventually help her find love again.
But no. I got a floozy of a nymphomaniac and a naive little brat as a romance option. Dammit Bioware, you can do better than that!

1) less cartoon graphic
2)more place to visit without recycled stages
3)a story more serious and dark like in DA:O
4)I loved the speech mode of the first one because you didn't know if what you was doing was actually right
5) more attention in bugs and import save data

2. An actually good ending! No cliffhanger ending with any feeling of triumph or satisfaction!
3. Less of the "illusion of freedom/choice". It quickly got tiring to not really be able to affect things as Hawke. Things happen, but Hawke seldom if ever gets to make any real difference; he can't stop Anders from blowing up the Chantry, he can't stop the Arishok from attacking the city, he can't really save his mother or siblings no matter what, it doesn't matter who of the two sides at the end you side with etc... Make the player able to actually affect events, instead of just being a part of them! Maybe not to the extent of the Origins (because that creates continuity problems you guys at Bioware would rather not face, probably), but there has to be more than what DA2 offers!
4. Fewer "waves of enemies jumping out from everywhere". In some cases it makes sense for enemy reinforments to turn up, but for every frigging group of enemies we meet? No way!
5. A female Qunari/Kossith party member, preferably a Tal-Vashoth (well, only a female Tal-Vashoth would be able to be a fighter) who is also a possible love interest.
6. More locations to travel to? They don't need to be overly complex - meaning, to the extent of, say, Athkatla, but they should be there. In DA2, I was a little disappointed that we don't get to travel at least once or twice to the other major cities of the Free Marches, Starkhaven and Cumberland(?).
7. Cameos from both Origins and DA2 showing up, as well as effects of our choices all the way back there.
8. Perhaps a few more playable races? Mind you, this isn't high on my list off priorities (I'm usually happy enough to play as a human) and I'm NOT asking for something like Origins, but how about giving us the basic choice of, say City-Elf/Human/Surface-Dwarf in regards to what to play as, with a few apporiate responses and the like for our races along the way?
9. Better inventory & item-ranking? The current system and the whole "star" business is just too confusing...
10. A few more armor sets for our party companions. I can stand not being able to equip our companions with the armor of my choice, but at least make a few more sets available! And from Day One, not as DLC!
... Oh, and can we get a Mabari again, similar to how it works in DA2? Mabaris are cool!

If they insist on playing it more like DA2 than DAO, they should make it a Sandbox game a`la Bethesda.
Considering DA2 has a similar quest structure to a game like Oblivion, putting it in a sandbox environment where players can explore and have freedom of movement (not to mention a lower bar for writing and pacing,) it would get a higher score as a sandbox game than as a traditional CRPG.
Though I would prefer they made it more like DAO with more environments, more fleshed out environs, a cohesive storyline, etc.

instead of instant travel
it will let me walk freely to them like how it is in oblivion or fall out
if it is gona be a far away add horses
also keep inventory like da2 i liked the whole auto junk deparment and how easy it was to find stuff
give more back ground on the start char other than just something simple like escape
like dao 1 it gave a good back ground story to the char

1.Logical story (at least logical to DA)
2.Less recycling
3.Better companion interactions (talking 4 times over a 7-10 year period is pathetic)
4.Keep the combat the same (except have a auto attack for those who want it!)
5.Test the game and don't lie about things that will be added to the game.
Thank you.

2. Explore a territory, much as we did in Ferelden.
3. Get rid of waves of enemies.
4. Make side quests more relevant to the environment.
5. Remove fetch quests that make absolutely no sense.

Guys just what they are doing.
Don't get your hopes up to high.
It might be much wiser simply turn to other great games like skyrim.
See? they aren't exactly expecting good revenue from DA series.
I really don't think DA series is bioware's primary project at all as it could have been much better.
Look what they are doing.
DA2 is "good" not "great" which quality bw was famous for.

My DA3 top ten wishlist (in no particular order and from the top of my mind):
1. Ability to play different races (solved by the ol' adopted background = same accent for voiced protagonist)
2. Voiced protagonist, it gives the protagonist character and depth.
3. The conversation wheel, I like it. It's a clever way of showing your options.
4. Fatalities/Kill animations. No more exploding corpses!
5. No recycled maps
6. Companion armor
7. More choises when it comes to character building. I miss my Str/Dex dual longsword wielding Rogue.
8. Same combat pace but no more waves of enemies.
9. Less linear story, more main quests, less sidequests.
10. More armor sets, 3 is not enough.
I can probably think of 500+ more, but this is what i could come up with while writing.
Oh, and I want 200 hours of truly rewarding gameplay, and I want it tomorrow
All of this.

2. Dialogue wheel
3. More than 9 environments
4. Race selection
5. Beefer elves. All for the new look but they look like a bunch of anorexics. I cant take Fenris all
'im a hardass slave - lyrium infused warrior' when hes arms are skinnier than my staff. And no slope faces for males.
6. Lyrium addiction thing supposed to be in origins
7. Origins style darkspawn. DA2 darkspawn look like pale, blind, clowns in crazy sex outfits. atleast that was my first impression. origins was much more scary.
8. Few more spells. like mana clash or animate dead.
9. No magically appearing mobs or waved battles. For me this is only ok in a boss battle and even then they have to look like theyre coming from somewhere. I like my battles to be who i intially engage and thats it.
10. companion armor but with helm glove and boot slots.
11. To be set in Orlais or Tevinter or Par vollen/seheron
12. A qunari companion (mage please)

2. A bigger map would be great. Felt to tiny for me.
3. Some faces the enemy would be good (why does EVREYONE have a facemask looks silly to me)
4. I want the orgin story back.
5. Set in the tevintir imperium.
6. A better desgin for the armor and weapons, some just looks stupid to me.

1. Give us back companion customization and inventory management
2. Return full interactive companion interaction (such as we had in Origins)
3. Either return the dialogue tree or allow us to see what the PC is going to say to stop the 'wtf, that wasn't what I wanted Hawke to say' moments.
4. Possibly allow us to return as the Warden or if not, allow us at least to have multiple origins and races choice again (please don't stick us with just being human again)
5. A full resolution to the story lines raised in Origins and hinted at in DA2.
6. More indepth romances tied into the story more deeply then in the past (possibly not possible though due to their optional nature)
7. Larger and grander scale involving moving through more of Thedas (enabling the inclusion of Tevinter Imperium, Orlais and Rivain for example), perhaps this could be linked to a 10 year time-scale etc like DA2
8. No mass recycled areas throughout the game please.
9. A 2 year development cycle minimum.
10. A strong driving plot and compelling antagonists (this is not necessarily asking for a 'save the world' plot mind you, just a strong driving narrative that can equally be personal in nature).

-Have a qunari party member.
-Do away with the enemies that spawn from nowhere and drag battles out longer than they need to be.
-Better character development and more mature, level headed love interests.
-Do away with the waiting time for potions.
-This is just my own personal thing, but I'd love to see the main character have to sacrifice a part of his/herself like in the stories of Tyr or Wodan. Kind of like when Big Boss lost his eye in MGS3. Just adds more depth and fire to the character.
-More gray zones when it comes to the dialogue wheel and characters viewpoints in general. A lot of interactions and personalities in DA2 felt so black and white, leaning from one extreme to the other.
-Have the art direction go towards something more gritty.
-More lively cities/towns

1: the warden to come back and play a major role in the game if its possible to do it in a way that stays faithful to wonderful variety of choices that could have been made in origins. ( one way to counter the ultimate sacrifice is to play as the orlisian warden commander that takes up the role in awakenings? )
2: go back to origin designs of darkspawn!
3: Hawke to also have a major role. But maybe possibly a companion?
4: return of a epic setting, more thedas please
5: combat system that has the same flow as DA2 but less god of war? Does this make sense? Lol
6: a story that ties all loose ends with flemeth being the main antagonist. With the return of morrigan in whatever role she pleases
7: greater companion interaction
theres more but my mind has gone blank!
