Keep the inventory.
Better armor and robes. I liked Anders's robes. Why didn't we get something like that?
More areas.
No more recycled areas.
No exploding corpses.
Longsword skill tree.
If it's going to take place in one city make the entire city open to explore.
Finishers.
If companion armor comes back at least allows an alternate option. In case we liked the old one better. (looking at you Merrill) Similar to ME2.
More interesting NPCs most of them in this game seemed drab. Worthy, Tomwise and Lady Elegant could have all been very interesting with branching side quests (Similar to the bone pit with Hubert) but they had that on conversation and were just clikable for the rest of the game.
Female Qunari.
New engine.
New design for ogers.
New Armor for hurlocks.
Keep the emissaries.
A ****ing normal dev time 2.5 to 3.5 years. I honestly never thought I'd have to ask a company like bioware to take the time to make a good game. But if you continue to rush games I (and others, I'd imagine) won't buy.
More areas like sunder mount or the barcilian forest. IE forest areas.
Spell combos.
Scabbards on the hip.
Item descriptions.
Keep banter.
I wouldn't mind being Hawke again. Unlike most people here I have no connection to my warden.
And my final and biggest wish. A game that doesn't feel like it's missing the 4th quarter.

- DA2's crafting system but improved;
- DA2's combat system but improved;
- Build every house/location with VERY high ceilings and give the zoom out just like in DA:O(NOT isometric!);
- Better/more useful loot. But Bioware have never been good at that so... with better loot they'll have to do more balancing;
- SWAP WEAPON!;
- More epic;
- at least 2 year dev cycle

I'd really like to see this in DA3. I've never understood why BioWare goes through so much trouble to create people we become attached to, only to then throw them away. Not everything has to be NEW in a sequel. Don't throw away the people.Maria Caliban wrote...
2. Our DA II companions.
I know BioWare likes to give you a new set of companions each game, but the end of DA II has them all (but one) off doing their own thing. Why not hang out with Protagonist 3?
I'd like to play Hawke in DA3.

Do Want:
- Races
- Bring old faces from Origins and DA2 back as Companion or Cameo
- Well developed main storyline/ dramatic choices
- Dialogue Wheel
- Voiced Protagonist
- Rich RPG's element
- Companion Armor Customization
- Fast Aggressive Action/ Finishing Move
- Old Crafting system
Do Not Want:
- Recycle Map
- Dull and Unfocused Quest
- Poor Tactical Gameplay...just Hack & Slash
- Main Storyline lacks focus and drive
- How'd good old character changed completly from good to bad(I miss good old Anders in Awakening...)
^ This and I'll add
Do Want
- Tactical camera like it was in Origins
- Being able to unlock the camera
- Toolset
- Dual-wielding warriors
- Lower fight speed so it doesn't look completely ridiculous. (DAO was too slow, DA2 was too fast). If I want to play an action game, I'll buy an action game.
- Bring back Shrieker's and Genlocks if there are still darkspawn about & go back to how the darkspawn looked in DAO, right now they look like they came out of a cartoon.

Keep the combat system.
Shale.
Sten.
Tevinter.
Not just a city, the whole country.
Real consequences.

Voiced protagonist
Protagonist developing a personality and people reacting/adapting
Rivalry/Friendship & Romance
All three races for the protagonist, maybe with different backstories ala Origins?
DA2 combat system BUT without the exploding bodies, bugs fixed, finishing moves...a combo of DA2 and DAO
Several companion quests and the companions piping up as much as they did in DA2. And being able to let them be in charge. (I had a blast when I let Varric talk me out of a tough situation)
A combo of DAO's and DA2's companion interaction. As in: Ask them questions whenever I like & topics added as the tale progresses AND Questioning Beliefs, Companion quests etc. ala DA2. See the companions interact with each other ala DA2. (I.E. Izzy playing cards with Merrill!)
A few more locations to explore
DA2 banter quality. The banters adapting based on your personality, relationships, choices and companions liking/hating each other. And there were much more in DA2. Not saying that DAO's banters were bad. But there weren't many variations.
A Secret Companion (Not tacked on with 5 minutes of content as the one in DAO. I love that one but still!)
Plot twists
Be able to play dress up with companions. I'm all for a unique look but you could give us several "Companion only" gear to choose from as time progresses, no?
A Toolset
Cameos of beloved characters from both DA2 and DAO. But no "risen from the dead".
Weather effects
Day and night changes
Do NOT want:
Approval system punishing me for daring to disagree with my companions
Recycled maps
Mute drone protagonist with a deer in the headlights expression
Deep Roads and The Fade ala DAO. Eugh.
Rushed ending with bugs (Both DAO and DA2 are guilty as sin there)
MS Dos Epilogue Slides telling me of supposed consequences. Give us IN GAME changes & consequences.
Rework the enemy spawning. Hated DAO's cramped crawling and the Wave system in DA2 got annoying after a while too.
No "Kill ancient evil" clichés
Wynne
That's all I can think of atm. I'm sure others have thought of more.:happy:

New country. I think it will be Tevinter but I'd like to see any of them.
A happy medium between the Origins and DA2 companion dialogue. I kind of liked not being able to talk to a LI and get a confession of love in say, the middle of the Deep Roads, but I think there should be some more player initiated conversations and not just companions talking to you when they want something or to thank you.
Less recycled enviroments. The maps in DA2 were gorgeous, but it'd be nice to have more than one cave/dungeon/house in Hightown.

I'd like to see different origin stories for mage, rogue and warrior.
I'd like to see more action options in conversations, maybe some class-specific. Such as being able to pickpocket someone in coversation or poison them. Some of my favorite quests from Dragon Age Origins were the Crime Wave quests that unlocked if you had the stealing skill. The multiple ways of playing through those conversations with lying, mocking, stealing, poisoning and such were great.
I want MOAR NPC dialogue and MOAR companion quests. MOAR.
Party banter is in a good place--they should keep doing what they're doing.
I want more multi-part sidequests that play out over time like DA2 had.
I want more side quests that don't just involve combat.
I want the enemies in combat to have more abilities that you have to react to and counter. While waves of mindless enemies are fun sometimes just like waves of mindless enemies in a boss phase is fine, I'd like more battles that are shorter, with tougher, smarter enemies.
I would like to see more of Morrigan, Alistair/Anora/Logain, Leliana and Flemeth.
More hints on things like Old Gods, the Fade, Dragons, elves and tevinter magisters of old.
