So I cant help but wonder that the Talkative Man in The Hanged Man is taking the ****** out of us all when he says something along the lines "Do you ever feel that the world is getting simpler? That things like eating and fighting are becoming easier". Or something along those lines. Anyway, yes Talkative Man I do feel this game is getting simpler, and it suffers badly as a result.

The talkative man was funny... for about three minutes. Now I desperately want to stab him in the throat.

I find it at once strange and funny that BioWare put this guy into the game who basically says it sucks....

They should have had a lost NPC quest. He could be on the beach crying and when you talk to him he'll explain that he's been trying to get home to see his family for 3 years, but is completely lost as everything looks the same. He could explain how he's tried to draw maps to orient himself, but paths randomly get blocked and unblocked, trapping him in a perpetual maze. He was a wealthy aristocrat back in the city, but now looks ragged and poverish having been forced to live off the land to survive. He'll pay you handsomly if you can just get him back to the city, but there's a plot twist when you return to the town and find that his estate has been sold off and his family since moved on, presuming, after multiple search efforts, that the NPC was dead.

They always seem to be making fun of their fanbase. Did anyone else interpret the Elcor in Mass Effect as a jab at their (presumably similarly-shaped) fans who wouldn't stop quoting HK-47? lol

Hmm didnt get that one (probably because i have no idea what HK-47 is;)) but the games seller in ME2 was kinda good.

You saw those Asari-Hanar porn games they sell in Shin Akbar? They´re NASTY.

On that note,I STILL wait for you to actually make them, BioWare!

The Talkative Man is absolutely hilarious. Spot on with the over-reaction of many of the fans, regarding that specific comment. The others are just funny.

Hah, he's like Ma'iq the Liar from The Elder Scrolls - rubbing peoples' faces in what they hate the most about the game. Anything that pisses off whiners is fine by me, even when they have a point.

I wanted to stab him for his poor taste. Ah, computer games. Can always rely on them to bring out my sociopathic tendencies.

loved it when he said "every feel like you're in the story...wish the teller had made me more handsome" or something.

I wasn't sure about the first line when he makes the comments about things being simpler. Maybe it was a snark at the many people who said they thought DAO was too hard (on normal)? That was was my immediate thought anyway.

The Talkative Man also proves that Bioware is not above ripping the player base off. The voice that you hear from that NPC is the same man that voices Sebastian Vael - The Exiled Prince.

If you dont have that DLC, you still hear that particular NPC when you enter the Hanged Man, showing that he was a part of the game long before they even mentioned the Exiled Prince as DLC.

Makes me sad, actually. Money is truly all these people care about now.

Bioware has an awesome opportunity here: periodically update the Talkative Man's comments with the popular criticism of the month.

Apparently a valid complaint = whining.

I hate biotards.

To be fair Ma'iq recognizes valid complaints about the Elder Scrolls Series as well, such as the removal of spell making (what does this mean, to combine magic? magic plus magic is still magic) and the simplicity of escaping bounties (Once M'aiq got into trouble in Riften, and fled to Windhelm. It is good that nobody there cared.).
Just because it's a valid complaint doesn't mean you can't repeat it to the point that it becomes whining.

EDIT: Also, nice necro skills AlienWolf728
