[Release] Evolving "Finesse"

Evolving "Finesse"

The Dagger "Finesse" is now evolving, has an extra rune slot, and can be equipped
at lev 1.

Unpack and drop contents in the games override folder.
This will not
override any dagger that is already in use in a game save. You can wait
to obtain it naturally (not recommended), or summon it with the console (Use Vaddi mod to summon it).

No, you need to summon it with the console, or wait to get it naturally (which defeats the whole evolving aspect).

Sunnie Do these weps show up in Vaddi's add item mod? im not sure since no1 has been able to make the dev console visable so idk if im even typing anything.

and his mod would help alot

ah ok thx makes like easier using that system vaddi made all i gotta do now is get the dam console to work to try these weps

ah ok thx makes like easier using that system vaddi made all i gotta do now is get the dam console to work to try these weps

For me all I had to do was:

1) Go to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship
2) Right Click -> Copy on DragonAge2.exe
3) Right Click -> Paste Shortcut
4) Right Click the shortcut, click Properties
5) Add: "-enabledeveloperconsole" without the quotes to the Target. It should end up looking something like this:
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
6) Move shortcut somewhere more convenient, use it to start DA2
7) Ingame, press the key directly below Escape (in my case ` if you have a US keyboard it will be ~ I beleive)
8) Try a simple command like: runscript addmoney 10000 - if you get one gold ingame, you know the developer console is working.

Obviously you need vaddi installed first.

BTW the stats the weapon gets depends on how many level ups you gained with it in your possession (IE one gained at lvl 1 and level up to 13 will have good stats but get another at lvl 13 and it be a lvl 1 Finesse and be really weak in comparison).

This is not true. An evolving item will have the same stats if you summon it at lev one and use it till level 13 or if you summon it at 13. There should be be no difference, and I saw none in all of my testing.

I can confirm Sunnie's findings from all of my testing as well.
