Dragon Age III in Orlais?

Here is my reasoning as to why:
1.
I think around Act 2 and 3 a lot of people like Alistair and other Npcs
mention Orlais and some of the troubles it's having, I can't remember
anything specific but I remember it sounding a bit strange/peculiar.
2. Sandal and Bodahn are planning to go to Orlais, they've popped up in Origins, Awakening, and DA II so it makes sense that Bioware would place them there (whether you like it or not.)
3.
Orlais is mentioned a lot in Dragon Age and is one of the more known
locations in Thedas, there isn't really any surprise in locating the
next game there, it's also one of the most powerful/richest places
according to the DA wiki.
So what do you guys think? Personally I'd find it weird to be in Orlais cause most people will have a different accent, which might be a reason why Dragon Age III won't be in Orlais...but who knows.

I was actually hoping the next game would be set in the Tevinter Imperium.

Then again, it could just be subterfuge.

I hate the orlesian accent. I certainly hope it's not the case. But if so, give us another game with Hawke and I'll manage.

Ok typical accent I agree Polite, but your telling me you didnt melt when Leiania talked, its one of the main reasons i jumped for joy when I saw Corene Kempa In the credit list for DA II

I'm hoping that it takes place in Orlais, since the Chantry is based there and the mages are revolting from the chantry it would make sense.
Even more reason I guess considering the ending of Dragon Age 2, I didn't even know the chantry was based in Orlais actually until right now.

Yeah it just seems weird having a whole game listening to that accent, it would get annoying after awhile.

I personally want to see Antiva, there's a huge forest in the north that could hold some great Dalish mysteries.
EDIT: Wait, I see that The Dales are in Orlais... I guess that would work too, but I'd still like to see Antiva.

The warden missing and Hawke missing just seem to be indicating a new hero arising. The Warden went mising in epilogues of both DAO and Awakenings. Also again next story of reconciliation between chantry and magi or all out war will likely be influenced by choices made in DA2. The expansions might give some hints. Was the break off of the circles from the cantry want has been hinted to since Awakenings (Wynne if she lived in Origins tells of a fraternity that wants to break if you persuade her) and again in witch hunt and DA2 (Flemeth, Morrigan change is coming). Will fereleden become more like Tevinter and Mages practice in the streets like Fenyreil writes about?

OR! A semi-parallel story that destabilizes the peace between Orlais and Ferelden involving the Imperium? Then in the next game, defending the Imperium against the Qunari as Orlais bargains for support? Then in the next game, the final blight caused by not two, but 4 old Gods. Two archdemons (playing tug-of-war with Thedas) and a not wholly unexpected and not yet corrupted one and a somewhat unexpected and incorruptible one.
Razikale, Lusacan, Asha'bellanar and...
Sandal.

You my man, just made the only other smart comment here. TEVINTER IMPERIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solution: Make Corinne Kempa voice everyone in OrlaisWillardH wrote...
It does sound like a very important and interesting region in Thedas, but... Just as long as not everyone has the Orlesian accent. I mean Leliana's accent was sexy, but I think I would be driven crazy if I listened to French accents for 50-60 hours. Ya know?

What's the big deal about the accents? I don't get it. It's just an accent of the people. Anywho I think we're going to Orlais - I mean if Sandal is there ....
We've all had this discussion before.
Sandal Is the Maker. The Maker is with us wherever we go. We are going to Tevinter Imperium, OKAY!

Bring down the mighty empire internally aye? Sounds cool.. I'd prever bringing down that other mighty empire to the north though (Tevinter) I mean it'd feel wrong if they gave the Orlesians English accents.. but if im walking around and everyone has a french accent it will start really badly getting on my nerves eventually
