I know that the game just came out... but at lvl 23 my build finnally comes feals good

anders does decent damage (for a support charcter)
archer hawk does amazing damage and can manage aggro awesome
varric actually comes together nicely around lvl 13, but is awesomer at lvl 23... if an expansion comes im switching up to merrill or a new char, whichever
give me 5 more skill points and aveline will be amazing

just too good of characters by the end to be wasted on such an easy boss fight... i wish the game hit a lvl 23 lvl cap early act 3 and that act was of decent length or something

I'm craving an expansion or content DLC too.

I just hope the DLC is as good as ME2 DLC.

I wouldn't mind some nice meaty DLC either, but thankfully I have the patience to go with it.

So long as it's Overlord or Lair of the Shadow Broker quality.

Yeah there is a lot of DLC potential for this game. I also wouldn't mind an expansion pack (a really good one.)

i think it would be kind of insulting for them to come out with it this quick... but after my build going through nightmare so easily, i can't wait to test it out in something a little more challenging

i hope they have a harvester type one... that was the hardest game i've ever played

I've heard a rumour that all the DLC will be the missing years from Dragon Age 2.  But I think that's not going to be the case.  Yes Hawke's first year would be interesting, but year three, five and six don't seem like anything truly remarkable happened. So I reckon the rumour will be wrong.

I hope for DLC of the quality of Mass Effect 2.  But not all Dragon Age Origins DLC was bad I thought Warden's Keep, Awakening, Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt were pretty good in my opinion. Although some were far too short imo.

I don't see much of a point in filling in the missing years at this point. Whatever happened in them obviously wasn't significant enough to the story we've already experienced to warrant their inclusion to begin with, so it follows that such a DLC would also be fairly insignificant--which is certainly not something I'd enjoy; significance is good. As well, we already know what happens, and the contributing factors which lead up to what happens--there's really nothing that needs to be filled in.

It'd make much more sense to either continue Hawke's story from where it left off--after the annulment or defeat of Meredith--or experience a parallel story that's been happening, or that's beginning, in the background--such as Leliana/Cassandra's agenda, or the Warden's in Act II, or something to that effect.

I personally would dig some missing year DLC. I really want to know about these spiders that made Hawke sick, darn it. Even though in my first "personal canon" game, Isabela done r-u-n-n-o-f-t. :(

They've got three "years" between the battle with Meredith and Cassandra going to look for Hawke. I'm hoping these years get dealt with somehow. I wouldn't like a DLC about the Wardens -- I'm all Warden'd out from Origins still. Aftermath would probably give people the ending they need, and I can't imagine that the story behind Cassandra et al will be released before DA3.

Companion DLC would be interesting but I probably wouldn't buy it.

Although... How about a DLC where we play as the Mabari! It'll be called the Barkspawn Chronicles and you'll have to tank the High Dragon and end up dying in a number of fights only to be resummoned a half minute later?!

The missing years wouldn't make that much sense unless there's a fun little side adventure going on in that time. Otherwise, I don't see the point of filling them in entirely...why skip them in the first place? I guess maybe they might not have had time, but still.

DLC taking place after the end of the game seems more likely, and what I'm hoping for more.

Character development possibly. Although it'd still feel weird.

Yeah. It would feel kind of weird. Although there is one gap that I'd like to see filled. Namely, right after Hawke arrives and you skip ahead a year. That was the only time skip that kind of bugged me, since it sort of rushes you ahead of being introduced to the city. When you jump ahead, Hawke knows the city and people within it, but the player doesn't, and while finding out these things is kind of fun, it's still kind of annoying not to see at least some of it first hand.

This seems the most likely as it's not reliant on the companions except your family, so it's much easier to bring in cheap voice actors to play temporary companions. I doubt we'll see much after the game as Varric says people all go their separate ways and hawke goes off with a different character if he/ she was in a romance or no one (or Isabella if you get the glitch ;)). If it is after it'll prolly be a Hawke only with new companions again like witch hunt and golems.

Someone suggested that we get DLC where we see how/why our companions leave us until we're left with our LI on a different thread. That's honestly the only type of DLC I think I'd look forward to haha.
