What happened to the story.
I would post this in the register forum , but after getting my wife's account suspended , i have been banned from using her account(registered) , and almost had to sleep in the spare bedroom ... Cone of cold has nothing on my wife (seriously) , and honey if you read this ... remember i am the father of our children.
Where is the passion in DA2 , where is the story line that gets me pumped up . The game is flat. I can seriously say that there is not one element that invoked any response from me at all .

So My sister dies , it had all the emotional impact , if not less than if i dropped my loli pop in the dirt. And all of the moral conundrum of hummm should i pick it up and lick it or not .. 2 second rule ?

Now let me describe a scenario that would invoke a response, for example.
We need to get into the city.
insert side quest here.
We plead to the guards to let us in to no avail .
As we are turned away , one of the guards offers to help by directing us to to a man named "X". quest find him.
After finding the man he offers to smuggle us into the city, (through the sewers, back of cart , rolled up in a rug whatever.)
And result is it is a setup !! we have been betrayed!!! (start of emotional response)
As it turns out he is a slave trader , we can awake from whatever cut scene you want here .. but preferably a scene involving a physically repulsive man (to mirror his moral decrepitude) .
End result , mom and sister are going to be sold to a brothel in low town , while you are going to be sent to the mines.
Insta hell NO!!!! (more emotional response)
make us Hate this man!! , have him sprout lines , like "aren't you a fine peach" as he looks at sister. "This one is a little long in the tooth, but some of my customers like em that way, as he slaps you mother on the ass"
Make it obvious that , if your sister and mother try to escape , they will kill you .
Binding your family to a horrid fate fate which they will enter willingly to save your life!!
At this point im going to full on RAGE!!!!!!
If your sister is going to die , let it be through suicide !!! , let her death be by consuming poison , who knows how she got it , consuming it just prior to her first customer , killing them both with the poison still on her lips ..
Later you can find , that because of her actions the patrons, want nothing to do with you mom , and she has been relegated to being the servant to this pos man .. or whatever ...(ya just can't go boning moms. i mean there is a line...)
Where is the Dark !!!! , where is the Grit.
If you had some kind of writing or plot that could invoke a response from me i would have played non stop for days , to be sure that bastard got what coming to him .
But instead i was constantly detached, i really didn't care at all for anyone in my family.
Hell i didn't even get the impression that my family even gave a crap about each other.

If a Ogre had smashed my sister into the ground like that ..... I would have said screw the city ... Im heading to the deep roads , and im gonna kill every god damn Ogre i see until i die!!!!
Even your mother doesn't seem to carry any emotional baggage from seeing her daughter turned into a pancake . .. **** End spoiler********
