I know that no matter what you cant keep Bethany or Carver after act 2 but i was wondering some stuff. Ok first I just started my mage and i brought carver with me to the deep roads Spoiler alert he died from the Blight, i was wondering would the same thing happen to Bethany, and also if i brought anders could i put them through the joining and make them grey wardens i thought that would be cool. and lastly if i leave Carver in Kirkwall does he join the Templars or somthing because Spoiler alert Bethany is Forced into the Circle of Magi. Before i forget WHY cant we keep are brother and sister bioware i really like both of them why WHY. does anyone know why Bioware did that

Im afraid no matter what you do, they will leave you, if you leave Carver, he will become a Templar and leave Bethany she will join the Circle I think...
So, you can only use them until Act 2.... I dont think that Anders can make him a Grey Warden though but I am not too sure.
I agree, it would have been fun to have a rogue Hawke, Carver and Bethany in your team all at once, but alas, that cant happen.

Story-wise, not particularly. Game wise, you might be able to get them back into the party for the last part of Act 3 depending on friend/rival level. Haven't gotten that far yet as my first game Carver didn't side with me.
