Well I know in Dragon Age: Origins you could make an asian looking female warden, but after playing around with the character creation for Dragon Age 2 it looks like the eye selection lacks this? Anyone attempted to make an asian looking Hawke and got what they wanted or is it just not possible in this game?

I think you get some good choices for Asian Hawkes. It's harder to get African/Caribbean features though.
But it's not too bad. I prefer this CC better.

I actually like this editor a lot, got a pretty decent black hawke, haven't tried asian, but i might suggest with the eyes look for the almond shaped ones i think the are all the way to the right and then make them really small with the slider (size) and then space them slightly further apart than center with the space slider.

This has got to be the first Bioware game where they actually make it a challenge to have an Asian character. Usually it's hard to NOT make an Asian character.

Also, don't just focus on the eyes. The cheek bones and nose shape are just as important for an asian facial structure. Wide prominent cheek bones and a flatter nose.
