Is this game completable on hard if you don't use any potions?
I've nearly finished act 1 as a rogue no pots, but it's getting pretty hard sometimes. Should I just stop?

Use pots if you want. I was pretty much forced to in many fights as a rogue, due to grabbing so much aggro off of Aveline.

My brother did it as a shield warrior, and didn't use as many potions since everyone was attacking him and he was supposed to take hits. More health, heals focused on him, all that junk.

its totally possible, the only times i ever used pots is when i screwed up on hard

No pots against the Arishok... would be most challenging because... he pots..

I think duelling the Arishok should be perfectly possible without pots, but I'll see

You can beat Arishok without using pots as a rogue on hard.  Make sure you grab lots of stamina regen from rings,belt, etc.  If you have the ability, decoy, the battle becomes a really really long walk in the park.  Just cast decoy when it's up and wail on him.  When it's on cooldown just run until it's up again.
