Simply because I'm curious, if you played a Default Hawke, which gender did you choose? Did you choose the model with or without the blood smear?
The Default Hawkes: Blood smear or no blood smear.

For my blood mage used the blood smear male model, just seemed to fit in with that character more than any other. Especially when you get the full champion armor set.

Blood smear.
Like a boss.
But that was M!Hawke. I won't for my F!Hawke run.

Male Hawke with no blood smear. I thought briefly about using it, as it does look kind of cool.

Why do you say F!Hawke and M!Hawke? Are they SUPER gendered?

I'm not really sure what you're asking...

Female Hawke with no blood smear.
Male Hawke was custom and even if there was an option to use the blood smear, I still won't use it. Now if they included scars that would be a different issue *hint hint*

I used it just because it bugged me to have him look different from the opening sequence.

That was just Varrics champion tale which was untrue so characters were portrayed as he wanted them to be and when you make your character that's when he is telling the actual story.Cody211282 wrote...

It looks a little weird. I imagine every character in the game going "You got a little... something..." before every dialogue.

Especially in the conversations with Hawke's mum.
Leandra: Honey, you've got a little something... *licks her thumb and rubs Hawke's nose*
Hawke: Muuuuum! Stop! That's were all my mojo is contained!

If I ever do a default Garrett Hawke, I'll start him with Clean Face, then before the final part of Act 2, he'll smear some blood. Then clean up until the final conflict.

Male, no blood smear. Looks tacky.

Two custom ones without the silly blood smear. Otherwise Hawke would be really filthy, because he never cleans his face.

I use it when I think it fits.
Blood Mage or Reaver get the blood smear.
Otherwise no blood smear.
