okay so we all dislike that horrible boss fight my reason is simple it took the Best Hardest kick butt boss from DAO and made him a pushover i would of prefered Orsino Becoming a pride demon if anything whats your opinion

He had no pride. At most he would become a rage demon because he sure was pissed off but that would be even more of a pushover than a Harvester.

Not sure if you like my opinion. I hate MMO style bossfights in single player game. Orsino was basically raided. Also they have poor tactic and just take so long to take down because they have this big health pool. Same for most every bossfight, just think about the guy who Avelina replaced as a guard captain, if you meet him again he is like ... stronger then Hawke.

And considering Orsino ... unneccesary. Nobody buys the bloodmage 'morale' anyway since most people see it as a poor Bioware plot device. And a GoA tie in.

Well the Harvester in one was kool they could of had him become an Abomination and sheild himself well summoning Shades etc. then lower the sheild get hit a few times sheild up summon more shades rinse and repeat

Plus, how did he know how to turn into a Harvester?

That was created WAY back by a Tevinter mage working with the dwarves trying to create a golem. It was a bunch of casteless bodies infused with a spirit from the Fade.

How does Orsino hugging a bunch of bodies make him the same? He'd have to know that specific Tevinter mage's research and how to make golems.

As for gameplay, the Harvester fight in Golems was insane. Lots of kiting, lots of high powered poisons and spells. And Orsino's Harvester is actually really easy. It seems NPC characters cannot die and if Aveline's not in your party she does a good job at being an invincible tank. It was pretty easy.

Especially when there was a cliffhanger in Golems about a bunch of the bastards escaping. I thought since they were developing DA2 at the same time that that would come up in the next game.

Of course, I thought the same thing about the trailers for DA2 and Witch Hunt and we saw how that went.

I played on normal first playthrough, but he was pretty easy to kill, in fact they all were, must try out nightmare. I destroyed everyone. I turned on numeric values of damage, I was hitting majority of people with 5000+ crits from whirlwind, I think over 9000 from Mighty blow (I don't even think that was a chain combo.)
