Can anyone from Bioware give me an ETA on when to expect the second patch (if one is actually in the works)? Even if its a ballpark estimate?

Your best bet is to wait for the Arrival DLC to be released. I doubt anything major will be fixed in this patch though. Dragon Age Origins for PS3 still has issues that won't ever be fixed so I won't hold my breath.

If Bioware does not fix the new game+ glitch after they release the new dlc and do the same as they did with the awakening bug in origins which has not be fixed to date, I am never buying their product again

I actually wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get a patch at all. I mean the game is already prepared for the DLC because we can see the trophies for it. If I remember correctly, the patches for Dragon Age were released when there was some new DLC content. Bioware doesn't seem to fix anything on the PS3 unless the game isn't working at all. The horrible framerate on Dragon Age is still there from day one.

Jesse said there is one in the works cause they are going to fix the insanity trophy glitch but that he could not confirm any other fixes until it is ready to be released. There were a lot of small but big issues that needed to be fixed which could take some time so hopefully they are trying to fix everything possible. We will probably hear more about it after the arrival dlc arrives.

Didn't the Ultimate Edition contain fixes? I have the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age Origins and so far, I haven't experienced any freezing or any sort of distracting glitches...
I keep hearing that conversations cut out in Mass Effect 2 after the patch, and I don't want to play the game and have an incomplete experience... I haven't even had a single playthrough yet since I bought the game in January because I heard about the save file glitch, and I've played games where I lost my save data, and I usually end up selling the game afterward because I just can't be bothered to play through it again... So I'm still waiting for the patch which fixes the damage the last patch made so I can FINALLY have a playthrough...
