Simple question, if you choose not to complete anders companion quests does he still blow it up?

- If so I'm looking forward to telling him to shove it and gaining rivialry points just to ****** him off, damn whining<_<

Yes, the Chantry blows up regardless of your actions (or lack there of).

Yes, but it is still debateable whether or not he still blows up the Chantry if you make him leave Kirkwall after the Tranquil Solution quest in Act 2. I have yet to try and havent run across anyone to confirm this.

Hmm. Maybe you can clarify how he does this? He seemed to need your assistance when you did his quest, does it explain how he got it done without you?

Edit: Thanks for the quick replies, been stalling my game to make sure it's a choice I want to make.

There is no explanation. In my pro Templar playthrough, he just does the cutscene and Boom goes the Chantry.

Cool again thank you all for the replies. Too Lea-Anne. That sucks, not sure why he asks you to come and help then. He clearly states when you do help him he doesn't want to get you involved why he doesn't explain what he's doing, but he could of just done it without you? So he really didn't have to get you involved at all, lol. <3

His magic must be much better then I thought!

So does anyone know what happens if you do this? Now I'm curious...

This is an example for my biggest problem with DA2. The Lack of Choices with actual Consequences.

Anders begs for your help and emotionally blackmails you into helping him because he says that he can't do this without you, yet the Chantry blows up whatever you do.
