Might not be what you want but...
1) change merrils appearance to Bethany
2) respec potion for talent changes
3) add in healing tree via console
She isn't bethany but looks and plays like it at least.

I wonder if Bethany and Carver have any unused dialogues like the squadmates in ME2? I've always get the feeling they'd have stayed with us longer from the early interview on DA2.

A nice idea but i think it would be weird having Bethany with Merrils voice while she bangs on about being an elf
