If you actually stop and think about it, it's not a stupid idea. Just because a few crossovers by different companies(let alone completely different ideas) have been bad it doesn't mean this one would be. I happen to know of very many ways that it could be a good spinoff.

I think a crossover would only possibly work if other games related to ME were in it, such as Halo or any other futuristic game that takes place in space.

. I happen to know of very many ways that it could be a good spinoff.

Such as? And even if you can think of ways to make it work gameplay right that dosn't stop it being a ridiculous concpet.

Shepard and Co. find an uncharted planet beyond our galaxy. They land in Thedas.

There, possibility affirmed. Lyrium is really just Eezo. They've been using "natural" biotics rather than magic. Demons are Reaper tools.

The evidence and knowledge of magic/biotics gathered from Thedas leads to an advance in Biotic tech, eliminating the need for enhancements, while Biotic tech and higher learning eliminate fears of Abominations (as they are really just Collector-like Reaper tools).

The advance of Biotic knowledge lead to an elite armada of Biotic warriors to defeat the Reapers.

I liked LieC's Sims idea.... since Shadow Broker I've toyed with the thought of a GTA: Illium. I mean flying cars, merc battles, has potential.

(that said... I'm a die-hard single-player ME fan....don't ruin shepards story but if you want to branch out after 3, by all means)

I could see a DA and ME crossover happening as a Smash Brothers kind of game, but rpg, with darkspawn husks and collector abominations =D

Shepard doing double jumps, the Normany thanix Cannon as his special power (kinda like FOX) and Harbinger replacing the "Hand". I'd buy that, I really would.

Unless it's a crossover that expands the Tommy Westphall Multiverse, then it's just plain awesome.

i downloaded the trial on xbla cause i never played it before but i must say its fun as hell and i think bioware can indeed do some form of crossover of mass effect with it
