I've read a number of posts and I stumbled across one which said that there's a limit to the amount of potions, that you can have in your inventory.

Is this correct and if so, is it possible to gain potions constantly, even when you sell these, when you actually hit the cap?

After you go over the limit, enemies stop dropping potions of that type until you go back under the limit, the limit is based on difficulty level (3 for nightmare, 6 for hard, probably 9 and 12 for normal and casual).

really? i have like 20 each and im on hardmode. restoration elfroot regular health pots, stamina lyrium. i buyout all the pots i can i always see em drop also. im wondering whats this about.

That's only for basic health/stamina/mana potions, elfroot/restoration don't count towards the limit afaik.

Thx for the reply. That worked wonders for me. I can get potions on almost every creature I kill, so selling them offers a great amount of money

You can "harvest" potions by putting most of them in your storage chest and doing some of the easier quests.

Because 9 potions is ENOUGH to finish a 9 minutes boss fight xD
