Actually, it would be an entirely different conversation.  Where it's located, it looks like it should be what Isabela says to Zevran if he turns them down but the talk table is not laid out neatly so it's hard to tell.

I just checked a savegame that I know isn't working with an editor and Zevran's romance active flag is set, and his approval level is set for 100. So either there's an issue with the script used to bring those two together to make a new flag, or there's a different dialog bug.

There are four lines I konw of so far (going through this is tedious, and the person who brought this to my attention showed me the first three) but I'm fairly sure there is one or two more (maybe not).

It's possible the last line is for another cameo, maybe Leliana, (this is a mess to go through) so I can't be sure.  It does look like Isabela should be saying it, but there's very little context so who knows.

Oh my!  That is just so adorable!  How dare they mess that up.  Makes me sad, and I haven't even finished my DA:O runthrough romancing Zevran.  It makes me not want to bother.

ejoslin, I am a little confused about the lines you posted, are they all Zevran speaking to Hawke or are a few of them someone else speaking to him? Is it just that one line that Isabella says to Zevs?

The talktable isn't clear.  It looks like the first three I posted actually are Zevran to Isabela as they're in the second conversation (so Hawke didn't flirt with Zevran and get shot down).  The last two look like they are probably to Hawke (though one would be with a living romanced warden and one with a dead romanced warden) -- it looks like Zevran is rejecting the initial flirts.  These are not Hawke's lines if that's what you're asking.

Edit: Gah, will make it clearer.

These lines look like they're from Zevran to Hawke.  The first would for a living romanced warden, the second would be with a warden who did the US.

These lines look like they're between Zevran and Isabela, though the last line may not be a part of it (it's in a different place in the talk table as you can tell by the line numbers).  First line with a living warden, second with a dead warden, third being Isabela's response.

This line looks like it may just be the "good bye" Zevran says to Hawke whether there was a proposition or not.

Edit: I am definitely wrong about the placement of these lines, and there's another one that I got (though I am sure now that this dialog is bugged beyond the import problems).

I was just wondering who was speaking to who, since the only thing I got was somehow Zevran was involved in the conversation. i think it's really cute Izzy points out he fell for the Warden and I wonder what his response shall be

The Isabela line I'm not sure of because of its location.  But in the talktable lines really are all over the place, it's with a lot of other Isabela dialog, and the only romance she would actually talk about would be Zevran's (she never talked to Leliana in the game, though it could be to Alistair I suppose).

Terra_Ex is the best He pointed me in the right direction for these.  But these lines are absolutely perfect! I know a mod is being worked on that will fix the flags (I'm anxiously awaiting it *grin*) but that doesn't help console users.

Bleh, they go through the trouble of writing and recording these lines, and then they're kept out because of bugs. But I'm glad that Zevran does remain true to the warden. Though it's sad that even after 7 years if the warden does the US, he's still talking about the loss being fresh. This goes along with the line in his US epilogue card, that he had many offers of bedmates, but never loved again I guess that DOES mean that he never touched anyone again Very very sad.

I've only one quest left in Act 2 (Demands of the Qun, the last one) and I will reach Act 3 tomorrow. If the mod is done by tomorrow, I'll build a statue of the modder

 Well, apparently there is a fix out now.  There may still be a bug in his dialog where he's giving the US dialog for an alive warden to Isabela (I haven't gotten there yet so I don't know), but that would be a dialog bug, not an import issue.  The fix for the import issue is here.  

I'm glad it was a bug, but sorry that it wasn't caught ahead of time.  But at least Zevran isn't cheating on his warden any more.  For pc users who use this mod that is.  

It fixes more than just Zevran's import issues.  It fixes Alistair, Leliana, and a variety of other import problems.

I'm not sure it works for already created characters. I tested it on one with a save just before zevran, and while the flags looked like they imported correctly, Hawke was still able to flirt and Zevran did end up propositioning her. I started a new game to test it

Edit: Hmmmm, I was able to get some different dialog, but still the proposition.  I wonder how bugged he is there.  Ah well, I'm going to quit worrying about it.

I'm not sure if it's an issue because it's not a new game, or if he has dialog bugs on top of the import issues.  I hope the former but I suspect the latter.  But he did acknowledge the warden, which is good.

Rather than re-buy and re-play everything, I just used the editor to approximate my canon saves. But I'm not sure how compatible it'll be with mods affecting Origins save games.

It won't.  It also looks for approval level.  However, I have several saves I can put up from DAO.

However, in my (very limited) test, it looks like Zevran has additional bugs.  I want a toolset!  This mod does fix the import issues, but I still did not get the dialog I expected.  However, since it was a save from just before Zevran, it could be an issue with that (I don't know for sure).

Edit: To be clearer, the two issues I had were that, while Zevran mentioned the warden, from his tone of voice, I think it was a US warden, not a living one, though this warden was very much alive (and everything else treats her as alive).  Secondly, I still got the proposition instead of a refusal.

Second edit: In another test, this time with Isabela, he does turn her down, but it definitely sounds like the warden is dead.  It actually is very sad, but this warden is alive.

So yes, a toolset is needed to fix him!  Grrrrrr.

just a quick question from the noob - does the game only ignore flags set correctly or it doesn't recognize them so, for instance, If I import my DA2 save in, say, DA3, it will continue to be dragged incorrectly?

If you've played through the full Zevran romance in DAO, you'd know that eventually Zev turns down sex even with the Warden because he starts getting emotional. Of course he eventually comes round after sorting out his feelings, but anyways, my point is that Zevran is very capable of commitment and sexual moderation.

Anyways, I'm so glad you guys have released a mod already! I'm starting to wonder if the BioWare QA team should be sacked and replaced with you...

Will I have to re-import, though? Guess I'll have to start these playthroughs over again...

I actually liked it. Yays for open relationship, hope my Warden was somewhere in brothel choosing ****s for their evening.
But the fact he does that because he is Zevran, and the fact he does that because he forgot the relationship he was meant to remember - it is two different things.

I dunno, I always kinda envisioned the Warden and Zevran as swingers once he got all of his "fear of love" issues sorted out.

So is Leliana's dialogue probably bugged too? I just finished a playthrough with an import where I romanced her and I got none of the relevant lines during her cameo. It's bothering me. :/
