The issue was recognized in the list of bugs they are working on for patch 1.03
Although, it appears that the issue started with when you imported your Origins save in Awakening. So, they said they should fix first the Awakening romance flag import... (link to the dev post regarding Zev romance)
As of now then, it is not fixed, if you are on PC there is a mod that partially fixes it. Though Zevran will believe the Warden dead in any case (but at least you have a codex entry that reflects your romance).

When is patch 1.03 coming out? They need to fix disorienting crit & shadow veil. It makes shadow tree weak. All these bugs are discouraging..

Does anyone know if Zevran's romance is fixed yet? The Legacy DLC has rekindled my interest in DA2, but I don't want to import my Zevran-romancing Warden (again) until I know that Zevran won't cheat on him.

Any update on this? I decided to make a whole bunch of Wardens with different things happening to them in order to waste time and distract myself from wanting to strangle Zev in DA2 . . . I wonder if there's going to be a 1.04 patch?

There's a mod that "kind of" fixes it. It deffinatelly fixed my WardenAlistair cameo from my Dalish Warden playthrough, which was wonderful.

SO MUCH BETTER to hear him say "Love of my life" then "my friend".

It kind of fixes Zevran, at least in that he RECOGNIZES that there was a relationship -- but it acts like the warden is dead.

Yeah, there should be some kind of official warning to NOT bring Isabela with you during the Zevran encounter. My jaw dropped when she and Zevran walked off together. What a slap in the face for those of us who imported a Zevran x Warden DA:O game. Half the people play these games for the romances, friendships, and interactions anyway; it's insulting that it hasn't been fixed.

Sorry for the bump, but I've just finished an Origins run with a romanced Zevran, and I wondered if it's known where exactly the bug lies. For example, am I safe if I import straight from Origins? Or will it still provide issues?

The 1.03 patch was released when Legacy came out. have you guys tested if its fixed? because the Leiliana bug is fixed in my game so i figure the Zevran must be too. I play on PS3 by the way.

I'm on a PC, just downloaded Patch 1.03 that has the solution provided in earlier in the thread. Played the Zev mission like 5 minutes ago, and he still walked off with Isabela. Very sad.

I refuse to use it, however. My Warden did not die- I don't want to hear it.
<-- my user picture, that'smy Dalish Warden (favourite of my wardens) who romanced Zevran. It was all emotional and amazing and I loved it, but it felt like it was for nothing in DA2. He went and slept with Isabella regardless. I wonder if importing your DA2 save when DA3 comes out, that if we ever meet those characters again- that they'll AGAIN act as if the Warden and Zevran were never together.
I am so annoyed at this bug I can't even tell you.

However, if you want to use it for Leliana and Alastair, I hear it works great.
