I was looking into buying some runes for my companions armor and have a quesiton.
WHen on th buying screen, why can't you see how good the rune is going to be?
I can buy a fire damage rune, but how effective is it?
Anywhere I can see how good they are before I spend money on them?
ALso, do these runes that I can buy level up in power? Do the fire Runes get better over time? If so, how?
Thanks for the help.

Because the runes are statics, untill merged with the item you want it to be in. The stronger the item is, the better is the effect of the rune. It is explained in ingame lore.

Ahh, missed that. So the runes are all the same, they just scale to the armor or weapon they are on. Thanks.
What about items like Bianca? Will the runes "level up" with Bianca or do they need replaced periodically?

Rune levels with Bianca, no need to replace it.

You cant, you can only replace it with another.
