Why is it all my party members get to look cool or sexy while I look like a cloistered nun or amish?
Every piece of armor I've gotten so far covers me completely and isn't even very shapely when it does. Meanwhile my party members are able to dress in ways that look good and show off their forms and personality.
In DA3 if they make it, I suggest making two forms of each armor and letting the pc choose which they get.
That way ultra conservatives can get their covered head to toe armor, and the rest of us can look good.
My only DA2 complaint

No actually. Armor needs to look as attractive as the armor of the other like typed npcs.
In other words if I play a rogue I want to look like a dashing rogue not a fricken fully armored warrior.
If I'm wearing cloth I don't require it to cover me like I'm some kind of nun.
The PC should be able to look and dress BETTER than the npcs. Nothing seems weirder than being treated like the most beautiful person in the party while hiding all my features. Meanwhile every other female besides Aveline (Who's a WARRIOR class and thus realistically should be armored from head to toe, it's the archetype) gets to wear and look attractive. Shoot I'm constantly jealous of not only my fellow party members but NPCs as well.
If I play a warrior the armor doesn't bother me so much, it fits the archetype.
Its the rogue and mage that bother me.
If I'm going to be a rogue proper I need to be able to strut my stuff, it fits the archetype best. What bothers me most is that Bioware clearly knows this. Look at the other rogues, neither of them are ultraconservative.
Besides the armor needs to cover and be realistic goes out the window when the other group members get to beak those rules (Fenris, here's looking at you)
Not that that bothers me as much as rogues and mages do.

I see your point. Clothing and armor should be more unique and Rogues should be wearing more...well rogue like clothing.

The thing I don't get is. They even went so far as to separate rogue armor requirements to be different than that of warriors, yet still the rogue armor looks pretty much the same as you'd expect on a "lightly" armored warrior.

That's because they are a lightly armored warrior.

some of the black 'onyx' armors look similar to sentinel...I love most of the armors in DA2
Champion set is sick!

No they are rogues.
The rogue archetype is filled with pirates, street thugs, pick pockets, con men, ninjas, ect. Almost never in any story or book or movie are these are these archetypes covered head to toe in form covering armor, While ranger types are also part of the archetype, they are only a small part of the whole.
Look at the other two rogues in the game, neither are "lightly" armored warriors in the respect you are discussing.

Well I guess you don´t get to look attractive because for that you´d need to be an elf.
Merril is about the only good-looking character in the game (aside male-hawke´s beard of course, who is almost as good as Duncan´s.....), and even her looks get butchered by that horrible silver-piece-of-sh!t she puts on when you romance her....
But then, Merril is about the only good thing in the entire game so it fits she´s the only good-looking one too.
