Anyone know how to set up a chanter's board to provide and update with new quest? Not entirely sure how to go about this, I can get the placeable so its examinable, but that's about it. Thanks in advance

There's this wiki entry on it: http://social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Chanter's board. And I think Sunjammer has an example project showing its use.
It's been I while since I looked at it, but I think you have to turn off the VisibleFlag yourself when a job is accepted. E.g., your plot script could just do it when the AcceptedFlag is set. (I think) the game doesn't change it for you - just reads it to know whether to show the offer.

A couple of quick questions and then I can probably walk you through the process.
- Do you want to add quests to the Single Player Campaign?
- If so, do you want to add quests to an existing job board (e.g. Chanter's Board)?
- Do you want the quest to be available immediately (once the Player has found the job Board) or are there certain conditions that must be met first?

I am using the single player campaign as a resource but its a seperate module all together, so I would say I am not adding a quest exactly to the Single Player Campaign. I do have the placeable already set up and it can be examined etc, I am just not sure how to get the GUI to pop up with the available quest, the quest that are available would have no condition. Maybe some will later, but these first couple will not as they are related to the main plot. I'll give the wiki a look too, ty

Thanks you two, with the link and Sunjammer's quick tutorial here, http://social.biowar...2/index/1870953, I just figured it out. Its pretty easy once you get all the pieces together. Also I have been having issues with 2das and GDA and the excelprocessor, so when I saw that I was kinda unnerved cuz it failed for me multiple times.
Solution though, and I am using openoffice, what I did was edit it with open office, made sure it was saved as excel 97. Then closed it when ahead to open it again with 'open with' and selected the excelprocessor, and it worked, generating the two GDAs I needed. Finally I get the excelprocessor to work for me too! So thanks to the both of ya.

Glad you worked it out - I should have a proper tutorial available tomorrow (couldn't quite finish it tonight) for anyone else who might need a little more information.
