Hi

First: when I read the troubbles people are having. I am in doubt that this game will work on my ´puter! just got it and installed it but had to go to work before starting to play.Image IPB

The computer on which I installed the game do not have a internet connection (I worry about cybercrime!). And I bought the CE to get the DLC, so I wonder is it possible to download them to an USB stick and transfer it?

If so where should I copy it to?

The problem is that you can only, as far as I know, download the DLC in an ingame menu. A menu item DLC is used to administrate the DLC, which ones you have downloaded, which ones are on offer etc. You can backup the downloaded DLC, I think.
But to download it somewhere else is not possible I think, since you can only download the DLC if you are logged in with your social Bioware account in the game itself. Then the game checks, which DLCis available for you and only then shows it in your DLC menu. The DLC is closely linked with your game (and also probably the cd key) and your Social Bioware account. If you log in on another game and download the DLC there, that DLC is only available for that game. You can try to download it on another game. But then you would have to copy the whole Dragon Age folder on the USB stick. Even then,it is not sure that it would work. And if it does not work, then you have lost your DLC since the Stone Prisoner and the Blood Dragon Armor codes can only be used once.

So right now I do not see a possibility, but I hope someone sees a way to do this . It looks like it is online registration through the backdoor, since without registering with social.bioware.com you won't get the DLC, even the free DLC that was advertised in a grandiose way. :innocent:

DLC redeemed through promo codes are registered to your account (on this site), so in order to use them in your game you have to login through the game interface using the same account, meaning unless you have Internet access on the computer on which the game is installed, you won't be able to access your DLC.

You can install all the free items via .dazip files, including the Blood Dragon Armor, but not the Stone Prisoner or Warden's Keep.

Well I happened to be looking around the DA files and I made some interesting observations. Under documents/Bioware/DragonAge/AddIns are a list of folders. From what I've noticed, I'm guessing these folders correspond with the DLC such as projects made by other ppl and the official DLC.

The folders I list below correspond to the following dlc.(This is pure speculation on my part)

Blood Dragon Armor folder: dao_prc_promo_me

Warden's Keep folder: dao_prc_nrx_1

note: I assume this is wardens keep because its the only DLC that has a bug and doesnt work for me and because I noticed its missing a Module folder compared to the other DLC content ive dled.

Stone Prisoner folder: dao_prc_cp_2

I'm not sure if I'm even right but I hope it helps somewhat

You're correct Itrshm, and if I were you I'd try downloading Warden's Keep again as it should contain a Module folder.

This won't help if an Internet connection isn't present though, because the downloads must be completed through the game interface.
