Speaking about bad investments... Does anyone else find the sum Danarius gives you for handing over Fenris a bit ridiculous? Wasn't it like 5 or 10 ****ing gold? From a game balancing standpoint, even 100 gold isn't even a fair price. I mean, you're trading an entire party member, dammit, and I expect to be compensated!

considering Castillon's slaves were worth 100 sovereigns a head, I expected Fenris to be worth 1000 sovereigns at least*

*NOTE: I have never once betrayed Fenris.

Were the slaves coated in gold and platium and their blood was pure lyrium or something? From a lore standpoint, 100 sovereigns seems to have been the spending cash of only the richest and most powerful of lords.  Because getting Vigil's Keep upgraded was only like 80 sovereigns wasn't it (minus finding the metals and granite)?

Those slaves better be immortal to cost 100 sovereigns...

Image IPB I agree.

Honestly I think it should've been 10 sovereigns a head and not 100. 25 at most, but even that's somewhat hard to believe considering the fact that having 25 sovereigns is a pretty decent chunk of change for anyone to have. Though IIRC in our history slaves sold for a valuable price (though I could be wrong. It's been a while since I brushed up on my history Image IPB)

Nobody is as gullible as Hawke.  Except Hubert.

No, you don't make any gold from it and through the course of the game your workers keep being killed and stopping work and you have to keep bailing them out. Think I killed a legion of spiders, dragons, a couple of high dragons and a demon there.

As for money, wtf was everyone doing?! I ended the game with like 200 gold and considered myself poor if it dipped below a hundred.

Money never really mattered to me while playing DA. Since i usually just use the infinite money glitch (i play the ps3 version). Sure it was more annoying to do on DA2, but i like to keep around 200-300g in my pockets at all times. Image IPB

How else am i suppose to buy all the nice fancy expensive gear otherwise? Image IPB

Aha, that'll be what I'm not taking into account; hoarders! I ruthlessly prune all but the very finest of equipment and a lot of the gear you pick up is worth quite bit, especially al the junk I hoover up. Shame on you for cheating too :(

I had 350 gold by ACT 3 and Legacy netted me nearly 200 gold more.

With Hawke's luck, Hubert would buy him out for 10 gp and a day later the miners would unearth a dragon treasure horde worth millions.

I didn't make money off the Bone pit, but I saved a bunch of fellow countrymen from pending dangers in Act 2.... shame about Act 3, prolly too much ale..
