i think in every rpg where you lead a party, its always a shame getting some comapnions later in the game... i think also with dao you should have all your companions by lvl 10...

the problem i simply see by getting some very late in the game (such as ogrhen, i got him when i was lvl 17 or so, i think) is that you didnt build up such a "relationship" you did with your other party members, and this will probably prevent you from exchanging one of your "loved" friends for a new guy, for the last few lvls...

so i ended up playing with the very first characters i got during the game (alistair, morrigan etc.)... simply for the reason that i had the strongest relationsship to them...and its also possible to develop them more into the way you want...

think it would be good for further dlc or dao2 if you would gett all party members very early in the game
