Buy Arlathan Replica from Black Emporium, it's worth it.

Oh and would you know if power/lacerate's bleeding dmg works? I'm not noticing it in my tests. Do they get changed to elemental bleeding dmg if you equip elemental weapons?
A demonstration of what Lacerate can do when it triggers on abilities with high damage factor + a link to Lacerate mechanics explained.

So I won't get this if I accept kolgrim's offer and killed Genitivi? Does it have to be both or one or the other? What happens if I load a rushed DAO save wherein I just finished warden's keep after lothering? Since it's not part of the final gear for an optimal elemental DW/archer build I guess it's irrelevant to the larger scheme of things but I'm still curious. Thanks for the responses IN!
"A demonstration of what Lacerate can do when it triggers on abilities with high damage factor + a link to Lacerate mechanics explained."
Ok that explains lacerate. How about power? Does it work the same way? Would power + lacerate stack in that way? I also think you/that gage guy forgot to address as to whether the bleeding dmg of power/lacerate gets affected by the elemental attribute of the weapons. Thanks in advance!
Oh and any feedback already as to whether the elemental archer setup I have in the previous page is already optimal or should I sub some fire dmg gear out for +crit dmg gear? I always learn alot from your posts. Your posts also confirm most of my own tests. keep it up dude!

It appears to help any class. See here:

I would be very interested to know what gear swap process you used to be able to equip the robes.

As much as I've tried....I just can't see how you manage to get to a 32 Magic stat to wear the robes with the stats shown in the video. 24 Mag - 9 for the Robes gives you 15 magic....which leaves you 17 magic points to get through other gear to get the robes on. Best I can come up with is 16 magic from gear.
I would be very interested to know what gear swap process you used to be able to equip the robes.
I'm currently involved in other projects, but I'll look into it if/when I have time and motivation. My advice is to invest a bit into Mag, and just equip the Robes. Trust me, your damage output won't get much worse if you are at +16 Mag from gear, and all you need is +17 Mag.

How did you get enough gold to buy all the gear you needed for Elemental Archer?
Three guesses? Obviously, I was using addmoney script to test the build out.
However, the build is totally realistic. On a fairly optimized playthrough you should accumulate ~450 g by end-game. The only expensive items you need are Robes of Unblemished Cleanliness and Ring of the Ferryman. I was testing this build quite a long time ago, when I was unaware of generic +elemental damage gear benefits.
In other words, I suggest investing in Ferryman + Robes only. Jackal's is freebie, as is Dura's Blue Flame. Fill the remaining slots with generic +fire gear of as high level as possible, and you are set. Refer to my post about +elemental damage generic gear (see signature) to find out more. Good luck!

Hood's Messenger To The King?
With 1 Devestation and 1 Primeval Lyrium rune, would this be better than Jackals?
Lady's Choice also seems good in placed of Etched Twins.
Jasmine's Cutty Wrap over Champion's Helm
The Lion's Claws over Champion Gloves

Not a legit solo. I have soloed the game 100% on NM without cheats, without resistance gear and without exploits.
