If the Warden and Hawke fought, regardless of the outcome this would still be a versus thread.

My warden would win hands down. She is a level 23 mage with an entire arsenal of spells. She also has far more character attributes due to her extended journey in the fade which let her gain points beyond what her level 23 suggests.

My Hawk is merely a level 21 warrior. Didn't go to the fade, and has far less skill moves than my warden.

Warden for me 9 times out of 10.

Edit: I just remembered that Hawke did go into the fade, but without giving away spoilers, I don't think it really factors into this duel.

Considering this is Warden after Awakening, a rogue warden or a warden with any rogue can also do the areal backstab.  It was in DA:O-A first :)

I wouldn't consider it that. If it were after Awakening, he wouldn't have any of these characters in his group. He'd be stuck with the B-Team. Or even worse, the Witch Hunt C-Team.

At a similar level range at the end of their first stories is where I'd call it based on who's involved.

Warden, he was nigh unkillable by the end of Awakenings, which occurs when Hawke was just a poor merc in Kirkwall. He'd have years of experience and badassery on Hawke.

My Warden solved country's problems in his sleep. It took Hawke 7 years and only happened because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Probably end in a tie. Then the two would settle their differences over a pint at the Hanged Man.

just about any warden that has gone through Awakening would destroy Hawke.

If the wardens use the combat system in DAO (which is slow as hell). Hawke could take out four of them easily.

My DW spirit warrior/templar/berserker warden would more than likely beat any of my Hawkes. With that said my 2HW or my mage hawke would probably kill all my other wardens.

Hawke would win because Warden would be shuffling around before his attack animation kicked in

My warden was a dwarf two-hander warrior that didn't romance anybody and died slaying the Archdemon.

My Hawke is a human rogue with two knives, romanced Merrill, and is still alive after beating the living hell out of an entire city.....

It's gonna be a close one, but the warden has Alistair on his side. Victory.

My mage Hawke would probably lose to my rogue and mage wardens - might beat my fighter warden.

My rogue Hawke, however, would probably beat all my wardens. She's a real beast with the knives. And with the shadow+assassin specializations, she's a real .

My level 35 Grey Warden Arcane Warrior, Battlemage, Spirit Healer, Blood Mage would rip my Hawke Mage to shreds. There wouldn't even be enough pieces left to fill a thimble.

The warden and Hawke can't fight, the world would be destroyed from such awesomeness being in the same battle field.

The Warden. He/she is nigh unkillable and if all else fails can use the PERSUADE to convince Hawke not to fight.

Hawke on the other hand has no such advantages.

My Warden would beat my Hawke.

My Hawke would be too busy trying to flip around and be all schmancy pants.
My Warden would just walk up and stab him in the face. The Warden just gets **** done.

 DAMN STRAIGHT!

I don't know why they insist on removing this skill from their games of late, it is one of the best features of BioWare games.
