As the title says, anyone know how to do it? I was both disappointed and unsurprised to find that respecing doesn't return bonus attribute points from some sources, such as from reading an Evil Tome. I know that you can add attribute buffs with the console, but those only last for a few minutes. I also know it was possible to permanently change values in Origins through the toolset, but presently that option is denied us.

I would like to know this as well. As long as all the bugs associated with the Maker's Sigh potion are not fixed, the console seems to be the safer (though far more tedious way) to respec. But I haven't found any information about if and how attribute points can permanently be increased or decreased, only how temporarily buff/debuff (http://dragonage.wik...onsole_commands).

it's not via the console but it seems to work (just tested it quickly). you can change the attribute numbers at will.
