I'm fine with the whole chastity thing. Kissing would be nice, but if he atleast gets a hug or holds Hawke's hand, I'm happy.

I agree, a hug mod is seriously needed for Sebastian. Chastity is not even the issue... theres no feeling between the two... I seriously wish they could have done a few things differently with him. He seems to be my favorite so far, not as an LI at the moment, but if his romance had a better ending... or at least the very hint of them being together after act 3... makes me sad

this, or at the bery least, on the cheek? maybe he can't be the one to give but considering femHawke has to do everything else in game, it would be cute if she just ran up and gave him a quick little peck on the cheek.

I personally like his romance, I just think it's a bit empty. Like at least hold hands or hug. XD I have a feeling there might be a DLC similar to Shadow Broker down he line with him.

I also support Sebastian, I just wish there was more that could have been done with him...but well I would hope for a Starkhaven DLC since Sebastian left with my F!Hawke . Now that the Chantry is gone and his reason to be in the Chantry exploded he might want to get back to Starkhaven...and my Hawke would help him

I'm very disappointed with the lack of content with him when he is such an interesting character (and easy on the eyes). Can't take him to the Fade, can't romance him until nearly the end and even then it's odd (proposal OR political arrangment that ends ambiguously), can't get a visit after mom dies...

I liked him a lot. After seeing the feedback I was half expecting he'd be preaching and prosing all over the place. I found the banter he had with my companions of choice (Aveline and Fenris) was more enquiring than preaching. I didn't mind his occasional references to the Maker (must be the accent because when Leliana did it, it drove me mad).

I loved his reaction when you walk in on a certain act during his quest - what a gentleman.

I think people don't really dislike him, it's more to the fact that he's DLC if he'd been in the game from the start people would have liked him better.

I wanted to romance Sebastian, but not only is his romance apparently half-baked...well, out of curiosity I watched a video of his proposal in a "friend" romance and found it to be somewhat unsettling. He doesn't "merely" want a chaste marriage, he wants Hawke to take vows and basically become a nun--and he declares this in what may be the most histrionic way possible (Hawke's "yes" reply isn't much better).  I understand that that's fine for some people but I just can't see my Hawke living that kind of life.

I'll stick to just being friends.

Yeah, I found it to be a little much. Being religious is one thing, but you don't see Leliana refusing to be with a Dalish because he believes in the Creators over the Maker.

I went into this game hoping I'd be able to chose between Anders and Fenris. Then fell in love with Sebastian instead. Which really sucks, since we don't get much from him...

And a lot of the Sebastian hate can be chalked up to the mandatory Anders v. Sebastian decision. Although Anders really isn't the Anders he was in Awakening (like, at ALL), it's hard not to feel like he deserves our loyalty (terrorist or not).

My Hawke couldn't either but the heartbroken look on his face when you turn him down all most made me reconsider. There wasn't much emotion behind the proposal but his reaction when you say no showed me that he really meant it.  I bet you he thinks about Hawke at night like Anders does.
