No, you're getting Seb all wrong. He would only gladly kill Anders after he bombs the Chantry. Before that he only thinks Anders is a dangerous apostate but not yet guilty of any tangible crime (apart from being an apostate) and would wish Anders to be given the chance to realise the error of his ways - you can't do that if you're dead. Plus if Fenris were to kill Anders out of pure anger and not for any real crime, then Fenris' soul might be in jeopardy and since Seb likes Fenris, he would want to prevent that.

You're right, we're thinking about end-game Sebastian. Mid-game Sebastian, maybe he'd let Fenris take a swing or two at Anders, but not bloody him into a pulp or kill him?

I like the friendmance too, except for the whole "yay Chantry!" mindset that you encourage Sebastian to keep, and the chaste part, of course.

They needed to give us secret option #3: Sebastian quits the Chantry, doesn't go back to Starkhaven, marries Hawke and moves into the Hawke Estate and they have a million babies.

Hello! I've read many pages here, but have never posted. I'm doing a friendmance with Seb for the first time. I was wondering, when does he propose? I'm in act 2 and I'm at 100%friendship with him.
I vote for secret option #3 as well! Can't wait to see how they continue his story!

Legacy for sure, because Bethany/Carver will comment on the marriage if they're in your party along with Sebastian. 

MotA doesn't really have any Sebastian-related romantic dialogue. (If you bring Sebastian/Bethany, she will say "Sister, you lucky b*tch" during one point, but I don't know if that's a confirmed "Sebastian romance only" line.)

One thing that bothers me about Sebbo though is the same thing I found annoying about Miranda Lawson in ME2:
His face has nearly no mimics at all.

The Sebastian line in MotA is romance only. If there's no romance, he and Bethany share a look and she has an 'oh my' moment.

I myself prefer the rivalmance, as I like the idea that he and Hawke are both stepping up to take on more responsibilities, but friend!Sebastian is quite undeniably adorable.

I'm always Team Male Harem. Fenris/Anders/Sebastian, all my LI guys. Of course, they're also Team Downer, with Sebastian and Fenris constantly ragging on Anders, Anders constantly screaming at Sebastian and Fenris about the Mages' plight, Fenris and Sebastian talking about faith...

Reminds me of KotOR 2. Everyone on the Ebon Hawk hate each other, they're only there because of the Exile.

So, I'm heroically refraining from flirting with Fenris in order to romance Sebastian. What do you think is better, the friendship or the rivalry romance? :-) I was inclined towards rivalry so that my new (mage) Hawke and Sebastian could actually be fully married, but I'm playing this game as making lots of decisions that will rival Anders and Merrill (as they were my chums in the rogue playthrough) and it may be difficult to rival Sebastian at the same time. What say you? :-)

If you're interested, dear, I've written a guide that a few users on this thread have found helpful: Rivalmancing the Prince.

It may be of use, I think. Usually companion quest and discussions net the most points so Anders- and Merrill-specific quests you might cause you to do things a bit differently, but hopefully this might help even a little bit. Good luck, Estelindis - rivalmance away!
