You know, I was thinking...just cause Seb chooses a chaste marriage, doesn't mean you can't kiss...

So why couldn't we get at least that? Or a hug...something.

Apparently in Thedas, chaste = the opposite sex having cooties. 

Maybe they thought a kiss would be "too much" because of the whole "one thing could lead to another" scenario. But geez, a hug isn't going to ruin anything. Friends hug all the time! HUGS ARE WONDERFUL! *ahem*

And sadly the rival path is more "let's wait and see what happens" and "political alliance" feeling more than actual affection. So no smoochies there either. *sadface*

If there's a Starkhaven DLC, I hope there's some smoochies for a romanced Sebastian or I think I'll end up staring at the TV screen with my mouth hanging open for hours. Followed by possible rage. Or crying.

A bit off topic. One of the things I love about Seb is, of course, his voice. I was writing in the "Obsession " thread and someone mentioned his Scots accent. My reply?
"And a Scots accent? One of the many reasons I love Ewan McGregor.Now if he ever did VA for Bioware, I'd melt."
Anyone with me on that? I could see him doing a voice for someone from Starkhaven.

I agree there's better have smoochies or i'll rage quite of cry. heck if there is not smoochies at all the Romance better be DARN good, Like in Aielund saga (sp?).

I think I read somewhere the 'chaste' didn't mean they never have sex at all, it's just not the wild vo-dee-o-doe of recreational sex. More a "procreation thing". In which case my Hawke would have to claim fertility 25 days out of the month (I don't think she could get away with it during actual menses).

Sebastian: "But, honey we've been doing it every night nonstop for 3 months, why haven't you conceived yet?"

Also I believe chastity allows for marriages, while celibace means .:foreveralone:.

I have to say that the idea of celibacy has always intrigued me, I mean Newton was celibate and many other people I tend to look at...celibate people are people who can actually overcome the natural instinct of finding partner and reproduce, and that actually makes me respect them...

But I am certainly not done for celibate life...at all...

When you do his Act III QB, and don't choose the flirt line, he will give a really cute grin, and say that he hopes after the Mage/Templar stuff is over he and Hawke can work on an official alliance between the Viscountess of Kirkwall and the Prince of Starkhaven, in a very wink wink nudge nudge tone.

Totally should have been a hoodie toggle for Sebastian.  I forget how many times I wished it would rain in the hopes that he would put his hood up. Some of the modded screenshots I've seen with him wearing a hood, you know he can rock the look.
