whew.... just went through all 42 pages of this topic over the last few days... (just stumbled on it last week!) Pretty cool stuff and links and pics in here!

I know a lot of people like Seb the way he looks, but I found this mod to be pretty close to making him look like an actual human without changing his original look (and took care of the Fremen eyes, which I found annoying... dunno why people get so obsessed with freakish eye colors in games)

While that mod does look a lot more subtle than some that I've seen, it kinda makes him look old. It's the lines around his eyes, methinks. But again, since I'm a fan of his real appearence, I might not be the best judge.

And huzzah for totally matching signatures (almost)!

I've been reading the fic she's writing that goes with that, and it's pretty awesome (and I'm usually not much for fic with M!Hawke or anything with too much Anders and that fic has both).

I read that fic too yesterday... the scene with Anders 'confessing' got me a little teary-eyed :'| aaaaaaaaaaawwwwww (lovely sketches to accompany the fic too!!)

I found another mod for Seb, which I find quite interesting. It totally changes his looks for something more prince... and/or rivalry-type... he looks like someone who has had a harder life. I know for a fact a lot of people may not like it, but I found the creator quite daring to change his looks so (and it's original!), and I find this more realistic to have him bearded.. and with a black armor!



*note: this is part of a large scale mod which redesigned a lot of characters and scenery... not liking them all new looks... but I like the originality of this entire project very much!

Personally, I like the Fremen eyes, but that's because I find it funny considering Seb's VA also played one of my favorite fictional princes 

Though thankfully, Seb isn't as much of a fatalstic jerk as Paul Atriedes.  I love Dune, but Paul does make me want to chuck heavy projectiles at his head from time to time.

Welcome to Maker, YES! hahaha

I actually use this mod, and I find the darker eye color very pleasing. It's making it much easier to get revved up for Celeste's canon play through. (...and stabbing Anders.... ) The bright blue eyes are nice, but a little off-putting.

I use the above mod too... I don't mind Seb looking a little older, his entire fah-mee-lee just died so I bet that does take its toll on someone's eye wrinkles (and yeah, maybe he doesn't mind not shaving once in a while, I love stubbles... just make make me wanna scratch them cheeks and chins!)  <3

Hey, welcome!  And I really like the fic.  As someone who has struggled to keep Sebastian on the rivalry path in her PTs (since he loves bunnies and puppies and absolutely everything, the dear), I feel your pain.  It 's so easy to pick up friendship points with him; I do prefer the F/R system in DA2 to DA:O's all-or-nothing approach, but it's hard to show nuances (for example, picking up lots of friendship with Seb while pushing him to retake Starkhaven).

That has been exactly my problem.  He just keeps agreeing with me on other points and completely forgetting my comments about Starkhaven.  I actually did a lot of research before this playthrough, trying to figure out a reasonable way to pursue a rivalry, but I couldn't bring myself to go through with most of it.

You have to be...I wouldn't say mean, but rather blunt with him.  Also, by Act 3, any openly pro-mage actions will also net rivalry for him since the mages are growing violent and threatening the Chantry.  I found it easier just to NOT take him in missions that netted him friendship rather than taking some of the more unpleasant actions that got me rivalry, since you do pick up a fair amount of rivalry for pushing him bluntly toward Starkhaven.

I will have to try that on a future playthrough -- it sounds like a good system.  Since his bug got fixed last patch, I wanted him in my party as much as possible to hear his banter... so it never occurred to me to simply not take him on sensitive quests.  Thanks!!

Oh yeah, I forgot about Seb's counterpart to the Izzy bug of doom.  I've always rivalried him, so I got lucky and dodged the bug.

I'm just going to stick with my optimistic they totally have something planned for him. Bits and pieces can be in-game for something that was never finished/put in. Along side what Jennifer told us - in this thread - I'm still holding out to see what comes.

@rak: IKR? Nice of them to post a description of any kind on that vid.

My guess is they scraped through sound files in the PC version (judging by their other vids - some of which are really awesome - this person seems to spend a LOT of time doing that).

Oh, he hunts them down via PC, lost sound files like in the nwn2 toolset you hear why cassy has left neverwinter for ophala.. (eeww... and he's an LI...) I like casy, but he's just too old for me D: (aka.. DOUBLE MY AGE.)

Just... I think I woke up my sleeping dad.. D: Man that sound bite really made me happy! I thought that he abandoned me because I was a heavy mage supporter that DESPISED Anders blowing up the chantry! T_T I thought that sebby ran off with the templars.. because thats what his faith somewhat does... tell you to turn in apostates and such...
