There are some amazingly talented people on the interweb, and (in my no way biased opinion) DA inspires the best of them!

It seems everyone is getting a slightly different variation of the end speach. I was friend/chaste marriage & I got:
I've never met a woman like you. I wish...never mind, we can't afford anymore distractions at the moment.
I wonder what makes him word that differently, and if it will ever make a difference.

We need Starkhaven DLC. I will be sad if they don't.

I swear to god, if they ever release a toolset, I will write that bloody thing myself. (I'm not good with coding, but...)

Does that mean I got the good one?   I accidently flirted with Varic once, but I think that was before Seb was in the party.

From what I understand, he'll shut you down if you flirt, even if he's not in the party beforehand. Someone did say that the flirt with Aveline didn't affect it, though.

Sebastian's goodbye at the Gallows varies slightly depending on who you side with (templars or mages). I suppose this makes sense, since the convo leading up to the chaste marriage proposal has him telling Aveline that he wants Hawke to become Viscount (which only happens on the templar sided ending).

Siding with the mages, I got:
I've never known a woman like you. I wish... never mind. We cannot afford distractions now.

Siding with the templars:
You're an amazing woman, Hawke. Had we met in different times... but let's not think on that now.

Bah, I just wish there was some way to get a happy ending with him.

Hi everyone! Just stopping in to show my love for Sebastian and share some rambling thoughts. (Incidentally, I flirted with everyone I could, without following through, and I was still able to successfully friend "romance" Sebastian).

I decided to romance him first because of the looks, the voice, and because I was really curious to see what this chaste romance was like. I have to say that, although I reeeeeally wish there'd been more content, and that we'd gotten a kiss on the cheek at the very least, I really love it. I had Sebastian in my party the whole time, and he strikes me as a very decent guy, who is refreshingly relatively issue-free. He reminded me in some ways of Kaidan, obviously another huge favourite of mine, and it seems like both characters get similar sort of hate.

I've always loved the idea of the restrained man with all of this pent up passion underneath, just barely held in (so hot!), so thank you guys for posting the links to that fanfic - it's definitely making my work day a lot more interesting!

Looking forward to rivalmancing him after my Anders romance playthrough...

i really have to agree with all that you said, and i think that's where his appeal lies. most people brush him off as the guy who preaches too much, only all the other characters "preach" too, just without religion and yet Seb is the only one who gets knocked for it because of his religious background. just like there is so much more to fenris than his brooding and anders with his quest. if you dont like someone, fine you dont need to explain it beyond that but dont say its for a flaw that most if not all the other characters have themselves as well.

I would REALLY like to hear more about Starkhaven.  I'm about in love with the idea of that place, and we haven't even seen any of it.  And they all apparently have scottish accents!

I disagree. I had sided with the mages and I got the "You're an amazing woman" line as well.

I had flirted with almost everyone, had a romance with Anders and sex with Zevran. That led to some rivalry points with Sebastian and he didn't offer the chaste marriage, but I still got this line at the end.

Omg! Hahaha, I may have just squealed a little bit!

I think that Sebastian is definitely one of the most well-balanced characters in the game and I would definitely spend big BW points on extra DLC, etc. with him in it! I didn't find him to be preachy at all - I thought his reactions to Anders and Isabela, whom I usually had in my party, and who seemed to be expecting to be lectured, were really kind and not at all forceful. So where that "preachy" label comes from, I really don't know...

I already had that too much in my mind whenever I bring him, but all shall be forgiven as I can pretty much be an equivalent of a jack*** whenever I talk to him.

I just have too much of a love/hate relationship with his character
