Aww ^ Is that our Celeste?

I'm really hoping we can get into Sebs pants in this new DLC... a girl can dream.

Edit: I'm cool with him not going into the Fade...but someone other than Aveline needed to comfort Hawke after her mother died.  I've only seen the Anders version, which was sort of bleak, so I imagine Sebastian could do better.

Fenris' version isn't much better either. I always figured that Sebastian would hold Hawke in his lap while she cried.

And I'd be fine with him not going into the Fade if they had actually let him make comments about certain situations like the other LIs do (well, Anders/Fenris, dunno about Isabela/Merrill). Like...

-Going to see Hawke after Leandra dies.
-If you put him in your party when the Qunari start attacking Kirkwall.
-Have Anders ask about the relationship at the beginning of the Justice quest, like he does for Merrill/Fenris. (he despises Sebastian, so I always wondered why he never said anything)
-Shooing Zevran away when he tries to seduce Hawke.
-Party banter about the relationship.
Edit: - a Sebastian version of Varric's "Friendly Concerns" quest (since there's supposed to be one for all the LIs)

Also, I would have loved an extra scene at the Hawke estate after Sebastian's "Questioning Beliefs" in Act 2 (and I wish Hawke's flirty responses would have been better, it sounds like she's trying to seduce him, not pursue a relationship, but I digress). It would have been nice to have Sebastian admit his feelings for Hawke, but tell her that he didn't want to sleep with her until he made his decision about Starkhaven, and then gave her a kiss. (Even a chaste kiss, he doesn't have to try and eat her face like Anders does.)

I think about this stuff waaaay too much. >.>

I agree with you 100%

Sebastian... on the second page? Blasphemy!

I showed my sister the screenie of Sebastian leaning on the rail in the Chantry and her response was "Oh.... he's pretty!". Yes, yes he is.

And you sister hasn't heard him talking, yet, Chylise. let's see what she says when she hears his voice ;)

That raises a question. Seeing as the new dlc can apparently be played at any point during the story, you can probably take Sebastian with you. But he himself is dlc, so do you guys think that his VA will be recording new lines, (because it was all but confirmed that Fenrs's and Anders had, or will he not react to anything that occurs in the legacy dlc at all. (Besides helpfully shooting your enemies of course =D)

I had her watch the Exiled Prince trailer, which probably wasn't the best example of his awesome VA-ness. She did love his accent.

With our luck, he probably won't react to it/have lines for it. Too bad, I like some of his reactions to certain situations.

Isabela: Come on, haven't you wanted to hit me, just a little bit?
Sebastian: Do I have to answer that?

Or the ever infamous "Trudging through Darkspawn infested tunnels, saving Wardens in peril! This is what I signed on for!" Lemme get my cape! XD

I just wish we could have gotten Sebastian to kill Anders instead of having to do it ourselves as Hawke. If he wants him dead so badly he should do it himself! "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." Alistair was willing to kill Loghain himself.

I won't disagree with this. My very first playthrough, I told Anders he could live, and Sebastian is like, "No, he needs to die!" and I was thinking, "Well pretty boy, you have a knife that I've seen you use in battle, get to stabbing then!"

I sort of understand from Sebastian's point of view, that if Hawke won't kill Anders, it shows Sebastian that Hawke is either a sympathizer to a terrorist, or not a loyal friend (or lover) to Sebastian. On the other hand... what the hell Sebastian. He's out for Anders blood that badly, but won't do it himself? There's some of us that would like to make Rival!Anders come with us as we side with the Templars, so he can see the chain reaction he caused, which would more than likely end with him being executed. Or hey, maybe some of us, regardless of whether we sided with the mages or the templars, don't want to indulge Anders in his fantasy of becoming a martyr. But nooooo, Sebastian wants him dead RIGHT NOW! *facepalm*

I would like to have been given the "Alistair option" in this case as well. Agree that Anders has to die, but then be given the choice to do it yourself, or have Sebastian do it.

But, in my head canon, Rival!Anders is told by Hawke to GTFO and never come back, and when Sebastian protests, she tells him, "He wanted to die, so he could be a martyr for the mages' cause. I know you're upset, but is that really what you want?" and he sees Hawke's point. ...And then they sit around playing rock/paper/scissors until the DLC comes out and we know what happens.

Part of the problem is that if Hawke refuses to kill Anders and Sebastian does it anyway, Hawke's ability to decide how the game is going to go is taken away, and taking big decisions away from the player character is a huge no-no in RPGs. So while it does make Sebastian look a bit spineless, he's ultimately a victim of game mechanics.

The whole "Geez Sebastian, do it yourself" is mostly me being humorous, if I let Anders live and Sebastian stabbed him anyway, I'd be really annoyed. (We're not playing a JRPG here. ;)) Hence why I'd like to be able to decide whether Anders lives or dies, but then decide if Hawke does it or lets Sebastian do it, like Alistair/Warden executing Loghain.

Meredith passed the right to decide Anders' fate to Hawke. Why would Hawke let Anders go (obviously ignoring that Anders is a threat to himself and others because he is possessed and losing his mind) and then be okay with Sebastian killing him? And why would Sebastian risk his own death by opposing Hawke?

I am trying to get my female Hawke to have a rivalmance with Sebastian. I haven't flirted with anyone yet.

When do the dialogue wheel flirt options start with Sebastian. So far no flirt options have appeared. I am in - Act 2 after repentence... gave him the bow -
Have I missed something?

If you were Friendmancing him, you'd be able to flirt with him right after Repentence (which is adorable, by the way), but since you're trying to Rivalmance him, you won't get any flirty options until his Act 2 Questioning Beliefs quest.

I had the same question on my recent rivalmance PT, being convinced I'd missed something ... then after a reload of his Repentence conversations, I had to sacrifice some friendship points to do the flirty option on that one... but, it was definitely worth it, IMO! I did think it was a bummer that there weren't any flirty options on that one that got you rival points, tho.

I know, why couldn't we have a "Princes are sexy" flirty option after Repentence instead of that horrid flirt sequence in Questioning Beliefs? It always sounds like Hawke is just trying to get a one-nighter in with Sebastian to break his vows. I'm always like, "No no no! My Hawke respects Sebastian too much to say such horrid lines! Argh!"

And maybe it's just me, but Sebastian always sounds so bummed out  when you're Rivaling/Rivalmancing him. One of his best lines for Rivalmancing is at the end of his act 3 Questioning Beliefs, and only if you DON'T choose the flirt option. (Formal alliance between the Viscountess of Kirkwall and Prince of Starkhaven). Of course, his "giving Hawke no less than a Prince" is the other great Rivalmance line.
