I wonder why Varric is having trouble figuring that one out - my hawk was shamelessly throwing herself at the chantry boy for 7 years. He has to cave some time. They realy need to get that line back in the game.

Not to mention just the most sincerely nice, tolerant and sanest guy by a long shot.

Yes, Sebastian seems to come into his own in fan fiction, Aquila is fantastic! fanfiction.net and the Dragonage Kinkmeme.
One day someone is going to get that line to work again at the end of the game, and of course word games again, remember Varric is telling the tale to Cassandra. I guess Hawke is safe in Starkhaven myself...

Excellent! Just the fact that they may consider it is brilliant
Back to the Friendmance vs Rivalmance thing, a few things have occurred to me.
Is Bioware having a laugh at us? Many Seb fans have read the friendmance line of chaste marriage as a celibate proposal. A chaste marriage is just one where sex is within marriage, he is not saying that there will be none, just marry him first!
The Rivalmance line about the Prince and Viscountess sounds more like a political marriage to me.
I know which one my f!Hawke would prefer, love and passion over politics any day!
The way Sebastian refers to the chaste marriage, it does seem like he's talking "no sex, just lots of prayer and too much sexual tension". I don't think my Hawke could last, she'd probably end up jumping him in the confessional or something within a week. But at least in the Friendmance he sort of says he loves her, whereas in the Rivalmance there's even less feeling between them, and his "proposal" sounds more political.
I know Ms. Hepler said that Sebastian's story isn't finished yet, so I'm hoping that means we'll see him with Hawke in DLC, not as a lame cameo in DA3. And I hope that if you romanced him, the DLC will acknowledge that, unlike Varric's epilogue.

Speaking of Aquila. I have Lywinis' blessing to do comic pages of it.

I try to draw one page a week since I've been busy with work and some RL stuff.

Hmmm... since the LI:s have specific banter in the new dlc. Do you guys think that Sebastian will have romantic banter in legacy if he is taken along and romanced. I would very much enjoy that =)
Have no idea so far since I haven't been able to play it yet. Keeping my fingers crossed =)

I see it's mostly women here, but I'll give a male perspective.
I really like Sebastian as a person. I identify with him being a man of the faith, and I like that he takes his principles seriously. There are issues, though. His faith in the maker blinds him to the crimes of the chantry and templars against mages. I shall not give an inch on that matter to appease him, either. A man so devoted to the faith should remember the reasons for which andraste fought and died; mainly to destroy slavers and tyrants. He should not allow himself to be associated with the same.
War is such an ugly business because so many good people get hurt, no matter which side they are on. But that is not reason enough to abandon the cause. Not even for a good man like Sebastian.

There is...Sebastian starts calling Carver brother-in-law due to thje marriage which pisses him off to no end. Also if you have a male rouge/warrior he'll hit on Bethany.
