Does he actually come out & say he's going to take back SH? How does that work? I haven't been able to rival him yet, he's too similar to my characters. Maybe with my dude Hawke. I figure either way, he'll go take back SH after the chantry incident.raziel1980 wrote...
You know as a guy... I actually like Sebastian( and if were discussing it... I rather dislike Anders( though that's mostly because of how he treats Merrill and his endgame theatrics)...). I'm not exactly pro chantry either...though I will admit that I like the rival path with Seb because that way he can retake Starkhaven while I take Kirkwall( in my templar support playthroughs) as Viscount.

Good metaphor darling!
I could've compared him to waffle without syrup XD
I like when he shouts, "This is MUCH more exsiting than the chantry!" Not sure why I like it so bad XD

Sorry, you may not like my opinion but I'm going to express it regardless.
Same here.
And I can appreciate that, but I don't go around telling people to stop saying their opinion.

I like it because in those time I want to start up a conversation with him about why the Chantry is all sorts of wrong for him and Starkhaven looks like a pretty fun place to visit. I know it raises rivalry with him everytime I go that path but one day... one day he will understand!

Will there be an second DLC with Sebastian??
There will most likely be something with Sebastian. I mean, he's not killable in game, as far as I know. And he promised to come back for my man Hawke's precious Anders. It's probably pretty safe to say he's coming back, if only because he can't die.

Well, no but when he leaves the party because you decide to spare Anders after his theatrics in Act 3... he apparently threatens you with a line that im gonna paraphrase as him saying "I'm going back to Starkhaven to raise up an army to unleash hell on you and Kirkwall". Which I personally understand since the grand cleric is in the chantry at the time of the explosion( this is mostly the reason why I always decide to kill him other than when I'm not playing a mage... i know for a fact I'm getting Bethany back n she can heal just as well at that point in the game).

His devotion comes across as genuine and persistent without also being a nuisance and point of contention. The writers (and the voice actor) achieved a uncommonly remarkable balance in this regard, and they deserve no small amount of my respect for doing so.

As an atheist, I must admit that I love the way Sebastian's religious faith was depicted. Unlike so many other fictional religious characters, hearing him discuss his faith wasn't the least bit irritating or annoying. In fact, I found his conversations with other party members rather compelling, and I admired his ability to proselytize without being militant or "preachy" about it.

Agreed. I enjoyed the talks he had with other party members. For his age I thought he had some kind of wisdom and that he explained his point of view in a calm and discreet way, without being preachy.
And this thread needs more pictures:

I agree completely with you.
Sebastian's banter with other party members actually made me appreciate them more. Fenris, for instance, showed that there is a very different side to him.

I don't mind his character, but I don't think I will be romancing him until I can get a little more out of it.
