Awww, Sebastian's armor always looks much more silver and shinier on PC. On my PS3 it just looks white. And I love your mage's outfit, she looks like she's going clubbing.  *wishes PS3 could use mods*

So, um...is there any LI specific banter for Sebastian in Mark of the Assassin? No need for spoilers, just a general idea of if anything is there would be cool.

I am afraid of getting my hopes up again. My Seb-Hawke is all ready to go (actually she is sitting in her post game save in her small clothes and a hat), but I'll go through it with other characters first, if there's more content for them.

Don't know. Although if you have a female Hawke and are friends with both Bethany and Sebastian and bring them along, you'll encounter a rather amusing scene. (This was on a Fenris-romance playthrough, I don't know if it's different in others.)

Oh man...I'm afraid to ask...amusing how? I was afraid this might be an ongoing thing. I guess Sebastian is to Bethany what Merrill is to Carver. It wouldn't bother me at all if it were only something that happened if he weren't being pursued. This must be trolling at its finest...I guess I can take comfort in the fact that there's no practical way for it to work. Circle or Wardens...not much time for macking on princes.

That is an interesting point. Seems perfectly reasonable for characters to move on if the PC doesn't choose them, but why does it always have to be with someone from the small group of ragtag misfits? What are the odds?

Also a valid point. Seriously, Bethany is cute and sweet and all...but what does she have that any given Lady Hawke doesn't?

I usually lurk here but just wanted to confirm that the scene is real but I had a circle Bethany and a Friend Romance Sebastian in my run. Also I only heard one Friendmance dialogue so far between Hawke and Sebastian but I'm not done playing yet.

But...but...I was romancing him, rivalry style, when he flirted with Bethany in Legacy.  Or at least, my Hawke was deluding herself into thinking they had something.  

I guess it was too much to ask.  But there's always fanfic (and fanart ).

This one.  Although my Nice Hawke interrupted with "So nice to have you back" instead of BACK OFF.  

I also heard that people who were in another romance got the same scene, leading me to believe that it's not rivalry specific.

So...that scene mentioned above is not available to rivalry relationship Hawkes...

Okay, now I really don't have hope anymore.

Aww, but it's not the same...

I really don't think it's asking for all that much. It's especially odd since he's the only one you can concievably marry and yet there's such a lack of intimacy. I wasn't expecting a full fledged romance, all things considered, but...just seems like a tease. Might it have been better if he weren't even sort of a love interest, and he would be up there with would've been could've beens like Teagan and Cullen.

Well, I might not play MotA for a few days, since I want to wait until Act III and I just started Act II again...(trying to follow the "Rivalmancing the Prince" guide...scratching my head on whether or not to trigger the "services" bit and do a little metagaming to compensate...that's my favorite part!), and it sounds like no one here's done it yet, so...

We were only going to get a tiny bit at the most, anyway. My only solace to offer is that this, like Legacy, takes place before the endgame. I'm still holding out, foolish endeavor that may be.

I heard that, too. Much like Sebastian will hint to an interest in marriage to any rival Lady Hawke.

WELP, guess I always have the seperate friendmance save to fall back on.

Confirming it. That's exactly what happens.

Can also confirm this. Just saw this scene a few minutes ago.  I was kinda sad, it doesn't seem liek Seb talks too much during the DLC.  This scene almost makes up for it, when she runs down the hall with him and he just smiles, and you get that scene. I laughed pretty darn good.  

I wonder if he'd talk more if Bethany wasn't in the group, maybe if Merril or someone that doesn't often get too many lines.. I dunno.

There's a little queued scene that starts a bit further down (cave section) where Seb admires the Qun and Hawke asks if he's going to leave for the Qun, and he says never.  That was also pretty cute, but I can't tell whether it happens sans romance or not too.  Still, I'll pretend it's only this way.

Shanra, I brought Fenris on my first run (but not with a romanced Sebastian or anything) and Sebastian didn't say much at all, so I fear that his presence in MotA DLC may be pretty bare bones. I did enjoy his comments about the recipes though. He seemed so excited about them.

I'd actually be curious how that scene with Bethany changes with a male Hawke, because it's very unlikely that Bethany could make the same reply. Also, if I recall, Legacy dialogue between Bethany and Sebastian tends to veer slightly more flirty with a m!Hawke.

With the legacy scene, TeenZombie, I saw that as Bethany trying to flirt with Seb, but he didn't really flirt back. I brought those 2 together with my male Hawk, and then Seb flirted back a little.

I don't understand this MotA scene - did Seb and Hawk disappear together & Tallis & Beth found them. Does it go to a cut scene & we see him smiling?

But anyway, Beth is defiantly trying to get into his pants - BACK OFF little sister!

Okay I apparently found the answer to my own question. If it's m!Hawke, Bethany just says "oh, Maker."

You can watch all the "rescue" cut scenes here: (actually I think an exchange between Merrill and Sebastian is missing. So if anyone has seen that one, I'd love to hear about).

The Bethany and Sebastian one is around 8:07. I'm really not sure why people are telling him to back off their baby sister, when all he does is smile. I don't see that as flirtatious. While it could be, it's just as likely an act of reassurance and support
